Cool, will give it a shot in next day or so. Thanks for setting up. May need to play a few holes on another course as I'm quite rusty as well.
One tip I'd give is change club and don't go with default club you get. I prefer going with a club that can hit further and not go full power on the analogue stick. |

OK giving it a go and for the first hole I putted from 37 feet for a birdie. Nice reasonable start (it won't last)
![]() There's been some fine scores on this one. Current leader is BLB34 on -25, with one of my Golfing party buddies from the US Timber Pete second on -21. Well played guys. I had a 2 round practice session yesterday and hit -19, so some improvement required if I'm to challenge. Though still being a relative novice I'd settle for a similar effort when I play the tourney for real later today or Friday. Tournament closes Sunday, so still plenty of time to compete, and cheers to all those who already have. |

A couple of additional scores of note to add. Another party Golf bud Bilko hit an impressive -21 to tie second with Timber Pete. And the gf performed admirably hitting -7, having said that she does benefit from the wisdom of a talented coach! I jest of course, in fact my form has dipped recently with some very indifferent performances. So not entirely confident as I prepare to take on Loch Lorne this weekend.

Just went round in somewhat blustery conditions (yes that is an excuse) with a -12, currently 8th. A little disappointing considering my -19 practice sessions, but still it's pretty decent for a relative newcomer. And tbf if it wasn't for 4 or 5 irritating lip-outs I'd have been close to said score. BLB still leads on -25, with Townnoob now second on -22. Good turnout too for this inaugral DSpy event, 18 competitors last I checked. Cheers to all. Still 3 hours to go if anyone wants to partake.

Congrats to BLB34 the tourneys early pacesetter who maintained his lead throughout the week, this despite some quality performances from the chasing field. Xtremefury's late -23 earned him a worthy runner up place, with Townnoob and MJB_333 tied for 3rd on -22. Thanks to all 20 players who competed in this augral DSpy event and kudos to Biggins for creating a wonderful course.
And speaking of wonderful courses. Starting Tuesday tourney two in the series commences with the DSpy Desert Invitational at the imposing and dramatic Bleached Bone Oasis. Same MO, 36 holes and a five day completion window. Tourney will be live around 5pm. Good luck. |

CGT Desert Invitational now live. 36 hole, 5 day window concluding Sunday. Venue is the impressive, dramatic New Bleached Bone Oasis GC. Just search for CGT in Tournaments. As ever, good luck.

Ahoy Blitz. Currently CGT events are open to all, not just friends. I'd advise a practice round or two on Bleached Bone Oasis as it's a little trickier than the Tours usual 'easier' selections. Any q's, tips or advice required give us a shout. Good luck out there.

CGT Desert Invitational - Day 3
The drama at the CGT Desert Invitational continues unabated with an exciting battle for supremacy at the top of the leaderboard. Bighitter maintains prime spot at the mid-point, but only just! With Anquila now in close attendance after an impressive -17. Gazspurs holds onto 3rd, ISKN is 4th after a fine knock of -14 and Stephinho is still top 5 on -11. Indeed all the top 12 are under par in a compelling, high quality 36 holes of Golfing action. A special mention goes to DSpy members Ellie and Foxy, who bravely fought to the end despite having a tough day out there. Keep at it guys, we've all been there. ![]() Excellent turnout too with 18 entrants to date and still a climactic weekend to come. Tourney closes at 5pm Sunday. |

Missed last weeks Tourney.
Ended up with -9 this week, got to be happy with that. Really liked the course, pretty challenging back 9 I thought, was -11 till I dropped a couple of strokes near the end. Well done all who took part. |

Was good fun though so I'll look forward to the next one. |

Cheers for partaking guys, glad you're enjoying the CGT Tour. Delighted with the numbers we've had for the Desert Invitational, 30 plus last I checked. Final day today and I'll be hoping to improve my somewhat patchy recent form. I hit -8 on Bleached Bone Oasis a week or two back, so anything approaching that would be a result. I'll post the final day report probably tomorrow and also reveal the very attractive countrified venue for next weeks CGT Tour event, which as ever commences Tuesday at 5pm.

Just hit a 68 -4 on my first 18 at a hyper blustery Bleached Oasis. And it could have been considerably better, until a truly horrifying triple bogey on the 12th! In which I confidently chipped uphill onto the green, only to witness the ball momentarily and teasingly pause it's progress.... Then slowly, oh so slowly, proceed to roll all the way back toward me.... "Please stop!" Then behind me.... "PLEASE STOP!" They weren't my exact words btw!! And yeah, continued it's inevitable, meandering, agonising journey into a 'welcoming' bunker!! I could of swore the ball grinned at me as it arrogantly ambled by! Ah well, that's Golf!
