Has anyone else experienced problems accessing radio programmes on IPlayer? I find that when I try to do so I can select a particular programme but clicking on Play causes the machine to lock up completely and I have to switch it off and back on to get back to normal.

What software version on the Humax? I think there are currently issues with some versions.

I'm using version 1.02.32 which is the latest version (I believe still in beta). As I remember the problem was with internet radio, which this version is supposed to have fixed, rather than IPlayer radio.

There are two later versions of the software (1.03.06 and 1.03.11) so I doubt that 1.02.32 is in beta. Unfortunately for some reason that I do not understand Humax have not made these versions publicly available although they are installed on refurbished boxes,


That was fixed at 1.02.29. The only current fix to your problem is to install unofficial builds of 1.03.06 or 1.03.11 that are available at hummy.tv.

Thanks for pointing me towards the new versions on the Hummy.tv site. I downloaded and installed 1.03.06 and IPlayer now works with radio programmes.
I was slightly taken aback to be faced with a completely different IPlayer interface in this version but once I get used to it this will probably turn out to be an improvement on the original.

Which Humax hardware is being talked about here?

It's the HDR-FOX T2 not the HD-FOX T2.
All available versions of the HD-FOX -T2 cannot currently use radio iPlayer.
