I have a TV with 2 hdmi ports but I have 3 devices, You View Box, Sky HD Box and Roku Box.
After a bit of Googling, I think I need a Hdmi switch? Could someone point me in the direction of what I need as I've been told that this one will not meet my needs.

Thanks

The one you've linked to 'may' work as it is (if you plug your Sky box directly into one of the HDMI ports on the TV, and the switch into second port of the TV).

There is a socket on that switch-box to take a 5v power adaptor if there isn't enough power from your devices to run it properly.

The only thing that would make me wary of this device is there is no mention of it being HDCP compliant.

The device here is more expensive but it is HDCP compliant, it's the one I use and it works perfectly with my multiroom Sky HD box, PS3 and Laptop.

Thanks both of you. To be honest I just picked that one as I have no idea what I'm looking for at all.
Thanks again

In all honesty the two switches cited are most likely identical inside.

There is a standard Chinese HDMI switching chipset (I believe originated from M-Star) used by countless small manufacturers in Shenzhen, it's HDCP compliant and very cheap (I think they start at around £3 for one without a remote, but it's the same unit inside).

Did whoever you spoke to tell you why it won't meet your needs?

I mailed them to ask, purely because I didn't want to buy the wrong thing but, by the time the seller got back to me to say they'd made a mistake and it would meet my needs, I'd already bought another one.
