You have to consider who she'll he up against in a skate-off though.

We know Suzanne will do Music and Hayley will do Jai Ho. Which are the Judges more likely to save?

And have we worked out what Ray and Beth will do in their first Skate-Offs? And Sam and Kyran in any subsequent ones?

Sam and Kyran have already been in the Skate-Off, so unless Suzanne ended up facing one of them I'm not sure she'll go through.
Some of the couples have been presenting improved versions of their old routines for the skate-off. Sam has done that for sure, but I reckon "Music" has got more potential in that area than most.

The judges would save Jai Ho over Music IMO, but they're scoring Hayley highly anyway, she's less likely to be in a skate off with Suzanne than, say, Kyran or Sam. Suzanne would beat both of them I reckon.

Beth's a bit of a wildcard and it's hard to predict much about her at all at the moment.

On any past criteria Music beats Jai Ho - if no one falls over, or Jai Ho doesn't add massive new moves that Hayley has never done and might not fit it anyway. Music has got moves in it that Robin pointed out were top professional moves. Its got bigger moves, and more moves. Suzanne has already been seen adding a standing exit to her end big move - that no one else has ever done. There's at least as much skating , dance steps and acting in Music, so Jai Ho shouldn't win there either. Jai Ho's a great routine - but its only difficult move is a short spin - its essentially a dance routine with no big skills in it.

The issue is that the judges have already given Hayley 9s and 9.5s for a couple of dance routines with relatively little difficulty in them. If they are in a mood to, they can claim anything they like from a wobble, to a hesitation, to liking one routine more. There would be an enormous row if they claimed jai ho was better, but they may not care.

We may be about to hit the problems of making them do old routines in the skate off. Some routines are just better than almost all others. Some people have used up their two or three best routines already - so are sunk before they start skating. Some old routines may not show the real gaps in ability there are now. Where two skate off routines did score full marks in their series, it opens up an impossible choice. The judges either have to invent a new objective way to distinguish two 40/40 routines - or they can put through whoever they want, and even if they do try and decide fairly, their answer may look controversial.

It all produces a certain predictability though - some skate off pairings look certain - others allow the judges to do anything they fancy.

Ray beats anyone in a skate off - he's that good, and he didn't even have to use his 3 top routines to win his final, and has plenty to reuse.

Jai Ho is strong enough to justify it beating anything Kyran or Sam have left. Hayley doesn't have many other strong old routines to reuse - but she may not need them if the judges keep on giving her high marks.

Music should, on merit, beat Jai Ho, and Sam or Kyran.

Beth has her final routine to use if she wants to - she's done it recently pre series, and it looks as if she has improved some moves within it. That should beat what Sam or Kyran have left. Beth v Suzanne or Hayley is entirely up to who the judges want, as Beth can do something difficult enough, and skate well enough, for them to find some reason for her. Music is a better dance routine, with more difficulty, but they may not mark for that.

The big issue though is whether Suzanne can get good enough routines and marks to avoid a skate off till late enough - because if she doesn't, she won't have Music available when she needs it. If she can't do it against Beth or Hayley, when they may have their strongest dance left, the judges will find it a lot easier to save someone else if they feel like it.
