Just need data on your contract - if pay as you go you may need a bolt on

If you are on a contract then you might have a dataplan - log into your account on the O2 website and check.
If so then no connection is required, it runs off your mobile signal. |

That seems a lot of money for what you're getting.
I have a Virgin VIP SIM only on a 30 day rolling contract, so you're not tied down, for £15 and everything is unlimited including data. I've find it very good value. |

what is the signal like?? we live in a rural area, 02 is very good.

I haven't used my data a great deal when I'm out but it's been ok when I have. Again it'd probably be best to ask around in your area. I'm with BT for my broadband at home so I can use all the BT hotspots as well. |

Seems like we’re going around in circles here so let’s have ago at getting your phone on the internet away from home.
![]() First thing is we need to know what phone you have and its Operating System i.e. iPhone, Android or Windows (just giving the make and model can determine this most of the time) then someone can point you in the right direction for setting up the Access Point Names to make the internet connection to o2 then last but not least what type of signal i.e. GPRS, 3G OR 3G+ you’ll be getting there to see what can be expected of your connection. |
