I really can't be bothered to have this conversation. As ever, you and Mr Sword seem determined to interpret everything I say as a personal attack on your beloved Android. I will get back to something useful, I am already two weeks behind on my project in Kisumu.
Bye |

Bye I would use any mobile OS. Well expect Windows mobile as i really dislike that. I unlike you and several others on here do not do brand loyalty. I like the Nexus 5, and it only runs Android. If the iphone had a decent screen and screen size, then i would have one of them. Oh, and there was more than just me and sword who commented on this. If you spent less time farting about with your phones and making daft posts on here about something your HTC phone apparently doesn't do, i guess you wouldn't be 2 weeks behind!!

The Wi-fi hotspot turns itself off after a while on my S4 when there is no device connected to it any more.
I use tethering everyday since I don't have a broadband. I have power saving enabled so I guess it is for that reason. It suits me fine anyway, but I understand it can be a bit annoying. |

I charged both phones up fully before I went to bed at 11pm and switched on the hotspot. 9 hours later the iPhone had lost 3%, the HTC 36%. Incidentally, I counted the iPhone had 87 background tasks running, the HTC had none because as usual the HTC battery had expired earlier in the evening and needed a reboot. I left the HTC to run the rest of that day to the evening but without using it (but with the hotspot still on). I used the iPhone as normal that day. Come the evening, surprise surprise the HTC was flat but the iPhone still had 40%. Just to counter the inevitable "you must have a faulty battery", the next night i ran the HTC from full with no hotspot and it used about 3% |
