I own a pocket TV which since the digital switchover hasn't been usable.

Is this now a piece of history in the world of Tv equipment, or could it be used to pick up Freeview by some means?

If it only has an analogue tuner then the only way it could pick up Freeview is with the aid of an external box of some sort. Which could limit it's use a a "pocket" TV, unless you have big pockets

And of course getting the signal from box to telly may be a problem if the TV does not have any sort of external input, either RF or Audio/Video.

Are there TV versions of the I-trip-ie low powered UHF transmitters which can be brought legally? That might get it going, albeit it in the limited range of your house

If not I fear it is useless except as a novelty......
