Reheating Frozen Homemade Meals
SaddlerSteve
11-02-2014
For the last couple of weeks I've been making homemade meals but freezing the unused portions to eat later.

I've now got lots of plastic containers in the freezer with ready made meals in them. Is it best to take them out earlier in the day to defrost then reheat when fully defrosted? Or could I reheat from frozen?

Either way will work.

I tend to cook in bulk in this way. Pasta I find does better being reheated from frozen.

Food from frozen can be nuked in the mircowave. Depending on the portion size and the meal itself you may want to use the defrost setting first before moving onto full power.

You just need to get used to how your microwave works.
