Hi,

Does anyone use recipes ebooks for example on their Kindle? Are they any good?

I tried one or two and they were pretty rubbish. That was on kindle though so maybe they'll be better on iPad / tablet. I'd be interested to hear too.

I did find this which looks different, about French Medieval food. Printed book like would cost at least £12.00

It looks more like an amateur pamphlet which is my previous experience of recipe ebooks.

Never on my kindle!
It's an EReader anyway, not a Fire.
The iPad is great though.
I've just put about half of my (many) recipe books into storage because of the amazing resources for recipes online.
It's nice to sit and browse a good cookery book but often, if I decide to cook a particular dish, I'll google 3 or 4 recipes and compare or maybe combine them.
From Amazon kindle, on iPad, I recently got
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...w_myk_ro_title
for 49p
and
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...w_myk_ro_title
for £1.79
Every so often they have huge reductions before the price goes back to "normal".
Put the iPad in a ziplock bag if you're getting messy and away to go.

Edit:
Here's a good 'un for 99p

I have a few from Madhur Jaffrey to Rick Stein.

My son bought me the Rick Stein's 'India' cookbook ( I substitute chicken etc for Quorn for myself).
I obviously didn't want to carry another book to our house in Turkey, so I downloaded it to my Kindle ( I have a Sony reader too - too complicated this reader btw)'.)
However, I was only saying to my son last week how it's not so inspiring to have an ebook - I adore books, their smell etc but more so the fact they show the finished dish in colour! I have an iPad too but you can't beat flicking thro' the pages of a cookbook. But I will suffer it as better than nothing even we're abroad.
