I much prefer super noodles actually. I find with pot noodles there's often more liquid than actual noodle. Plus super noodles are cheaper.

I saw an itsu pot noodle in a supermarket the other day, anyone tried them?
Never liked pot noodles, even as a student, they taste far too salty and synthetic even after a drunken night out. Not for me thanks.

don't know. they're a nice snack, quick and easy to do. they're suppose to be bad for you, but looking on the pot at the back, they don't seem all that bad.

You add your own water so who's fault is that?

They're not too bad really. Freeze dried noodles, powdered stock, freeze dried veg and soya.

I buy several of the brands. Pot Noodles do seem to be quite expensive compared to the ehnic brands and the supermarket own brands.
And considering I usually add a splash of soy, chilli sauce and other condiments it doesn't really matter too much of one brand lacks a little flavour than another.

I love Pot Noodles but very rarely eat them. They are messy little suckers and I end up with most of it down my front. Plus, I know you add boiling water, but it takes an age to cool off enough to eat.

I only like the chicken noodle one (although I doubt the chicken has ever actually seen a chicken).

Pot Noodles/Ramen noodles are a quick snack and made a base for many meals when I was still camping.

I don't like them at all. I prefer the cheap packet noodles from Lidl, far more flavour.

The Curry ones are lush

Chicken & Mushroom (green packaging) are overrated

There an ethnic brand that has two levels on the pot. One for noodles and one for noodle soup.

Years ago I liked them, also there was a rice based one, made by Golden Wonder as well, called "Pot rice", Same idea, add hot water, wait 2 mins, stir in the sachet contents.
This was in the early eighties, haven't seen pot rice for ages now. My fav was the chicken curry one

I tried Pot noodle recently for the first time in years...it was ok, but I didnt seem to like it as much as I used to back then.

A lifesaver when I was a student, and tesco value "super noodles."

They're not as bad as people make out, they have a repuatation for being dirty which I don't understand.

Pot noodle cooking instructions "Rip off the lid", "whip out the satchet"..."stir..grab fork and dig in"

Not much sexual metaphor there then.

Not a big fan. There are loads of different types of packet noodle out there and potnoodle are amongst the most expensive and the worst tasting.

I've always eaten them on and off since the 80s and suffered no ill effects.

Great as a quick, hot, filling savoury snack. Cheap too.

They did a limited range called "Posh Noodles" for a while about 6 years ago and they were honestly absolutely delicious.

Packet noodles for me too. I wanted to have it today for lunch, but my local store don't stock them anymore. It's nice when you can omit the chilli in packet noodles, which i prefer to do as I don't eat hot food.

Love pot noodles, great lunch time or light dinner meal. I don't think they taste as nice as what they used to back in the 90s. Asda do often have them on for 50p so I stock up
