Just finished Season 2. It was just brilliant but am gutted I have to wait another year for Season 3.

Hats off to 'Crazy Eyes'......she really was the star of this series in every way. The range of emotions she pulls from you as a viewer is incredible. I love her!

I'll really miss Rosa. Her exit was perfect. I also loved that there was more back stories this season. It really fleshes the whole thing out.

Morello broke my heart and poor crazy eyes

Jason Biggs needs to never be on this show ever again. He is just awful.

I'm sure it was mentioned early on in the series, but why are the inmates not allowed conjugal visits?

Dascha Polanco and Yael Stone also made regulars for Season Three.

Jason Biggs downgraded apparently.

So thats Piper, Alex, Red, Healy, Crazy Eyes, Pennsatucky, Taytseee, Gloria, Caputo, Black Cindy, Poussey, Morello and Daya that are all regulars now. The opening credits will be chuck-a-block with names.

It's a shame that Laverne Cox hasn't been made a regular though. Sophia is my favourite character.

I hope that is true
He felt pointless this season and with how his character's arc went in season 2, it suggested to me there was nothing else to do

His story arc with Piper's best mate was the only downfall of season 2

and i am wondering if Laverne hasn't signed on to be a regular because she has been offered a lot of projects. People have been so inspired by her story of being transgender and how it has transpired onto Orange, that they want her for other things. I know she has a reality show filming her either now or very soon as one of those projects.

I binged on both series lately and I am hooked on this show. The ending of series 2 was brilliant.

I hope we see Nicky's and Boo's stories in the new series

Oscar Winning Actress Mary Steenburgen has joined the cast for season 3. She confirmed on Thursday she was going in for her first costume fitting.

I have a prediction she may not be a prisoner, but perhaps Fig's replacement

I hope not - that would mean they've fired or demoted poor Caputo! I felt so bloody sorry for him in the final episode - everything going to shit around him, and he'd only had the job two days! Steenburgens's a decent actress, I just think she tends towards simpering on occasion. Let's hope Caputo remains as Assistant Warden (loved him this season), and Steenburgen is a new staff member directly under him in seniority - perhaps moving into Caputo's old role. They've always referred to the Warden as a 'he', haven't they? I wonder if they'll cast that role next season. It feels like they're saving up that particular role for a big name guest star - and the whole embezzlement thing has to go up the chain somehow, surely? If we get rid of the Larry-Polly drama (so bored by the end), then there's space for more staff related storylines. I loved the little insights we got with Side Boob, O'Neill's banjolele, and O'Neill/Bell's developing relationship.

Just finished S2 (didn't want to venture in here beforehand!).

I loved it how became about more than just Piper. Vee was a brilliant introduction. Soso was good too. Pornstache was a loathsome character but I can't help but laugh at some of the stuff he says. I think the show will miss him.

I'm another who's just finished season 2 (managed to make it last a week, which I feel was very restrained!)

it's been a long time since I've laughed and cried so much at a TV show. I really thought the last 5 minutes were amazing.

I also liked getting to know the other characters better this season, although I did miss the Piper / Alex interaction. hopefully we'll see more of this in S3.

** Caution book related spoiler below - only read if you've read the book as could possibly spoil the series ending If you haven't **

I think we will see Pornstache again

There is bound to be a trial for his charges resulting in Daya going to court and to testify against him.

Edit: Actually no. Just looked at the actors twitter and he has said he won't be in season 3. That's a shame.

I hope the show dominates the upcoming emmy nominations

The show was submitted as a drama for golden globes but as a comedy for emmys, so think it will have a chance. The drama categories for women are incredibly strong and tough.

As long as Kate Mulgrew gets a nom, i am not bothered either way. She is a revelation as Red. You would never think this was the women who played Kathryn Janeway on Voyager.

Yael Stone who plays Lorna has been made a regular

Just looked her up and it turns out she is australian. Her brooklyn accent in the show is so brilliant and convincing.

Great news. She's easily one of my favourite characters and I agree about the accent.

I have just binge watched both seasons in about 5 days, and I love this show.
I'm so glad we're getting Alex back!
Every actor is fantastic, although I'm f*cking annoyed at Polly! Some friend!
Rosa's exit...beautiful.
I love Morello, really thought she'd have been in for fraud - re the shoes, but to find out it was stalking? I love the curveballs this show throws all over the place. I love Nicky too, I really hope her and Morello get more of a relationship.
I hated Boo in the first few eps, grew to love her.
Also hated the hillbilly with bad teeth (forgotten her name) in the first series, and love her now. She's being given more of a heart.
I'm just completely blown away by this show.

amazing second series. Great writing and acting can't wait for the next series.

I also agree Jason Biggs didn't bring a lot this time around, let's hope he isn't back for the season 3
