The figures weren't that bad and no worse than everything else in that slot. But they tend to keep that style of series but with a different presenter each time. Ade Edmondspn, Gryff Rhys Jones and someone else have all done them in the past year or so, and won't be returning. Obviously because it's Christine, it has to have flopped to fit the narrative. Some cold hard facts- she hasn't been under exclusive contract with ITV since the summer, yet they still employ her.
Her career has barely suffered at ITV anyway. What would she have actually done at the BBC? (Excluding the rumoured Olympics role which would've been tiny)
