Does anyone know the rating for the 10:15pm rating for BOAF? Hoping it got a boost from ITV News at 4.3m at 10pm last night. Thanks

Still excellnt ratings for a drama, but its quite disappointing when a big drama begins to slide. This weeks episode will timeshift to around 9.8-9.9m its lowest since it begun.

I don't think Musketeers will drop any further. Infact, I predict it will go up to 5.2m viewers for this weeks episode. (I have probably now just put the kiss of death on it!)”

Your very brave with that prediction - I just hope it stabilises because it deserves to.

I did just have an awful thought - If Musketeers dropped below 4m it could be outrated by Blandings - now that would be an absurdity.

Still doing well just not as well as previous years. We don't know for certain that episode 5 of Call The Midwife won't hit 10m of course. It's still in a better place than The Musketeers.

You keep repeating this but I am not so sure what you are basing this on. The first four consolidateds this year are higher on average than the first series.

ITV will be disappointed if Musketeers moves to a different day and/or different part of the year for series two, because it seems they ordered a third series of Selfidge weeks/months ago, so they'll be hoping to play it against Musketeers on Sundays next winter to give it (Selfridge) a fighting chance of maintaining 4.5m overnights.

It's still doing well. Although episodes 3 & 4 of series 1 were higher than the corresponding episodes of series 3.

Yes, though its a bit sad that damage limitation appears to be the order of the day for both.

I think it depends what happens to Musketeers ratings from now - if it did drop towards 4m it wont return on Sundays but if it stays around 6m consolidated it probably will.

Im not convinced that "The Musketeers" will go back to Sundays given that it dropped its audience while in that slot. They perhaps would be inclined to experiment it with a different evening and/or part of the year. It may suit them to air this is Spring/Summer next time around when there is a bit more space in the schedules for drama. Im not sure the 2014 air date will be repeated for the second series.

What happens to Selfridge if Death in Paradise airs on Sundays at 9pm next winter?

Terrible once again for Dancing on Ice. The numbers have been worse than I ever imagined. 4.7m for the main show is very poor indeed. The Skate Off seems to have stabilised though, however at a very poor level.

Odd to seem CTM losing viewers on a weekly basis. Next year with Rising Star on the cards may cause the show a few problems. Top Gear continues to rate very well. Up again for the 3rd week in a row.

Call the Midwife is fine at the moment - especially considering how other dramas are fairing. Mr. Selfridge appears to have bottomed out, unlike Dancing on Ice which is sliding away. It will be up against the Olympic Closing Ceremony next week. Good luck with that one.

The BAFTAS and Blandings didn't do brilliantly. When did Dragon'S Den air last year? That might partially explain the 9pm dips.

BIB - if that is ITV's ambition for MS, then they might as well give up on the show now.

The fact that DCI Banks is outrating it quite convincingly speaks volumes - especially as I'm guessing its budget per hour is significantly less than MS' ...

I wonder if it will just follow a pattern of "Ripper Street" and "The Musketeers" and something new will be aired on Sunday evenings next year against "Mr Selfridge". Did the current controller even commision "The Musketeers" I dont think she did so she may have her own plans of what she wants to launch there. Although I guess her drama contoller will also have opinions on where to pitch drama, but Moore may want something different again next January as "Call The Midwife" gives a great lead in.

I think ITV might put Lewis on Sunday after Rising Star. This is all guesswork. Mr Selfridge v Death In Paradise could be an interesting tussle. My money would be on the detectives.

Lewis has finished, Kevin has said he doesn't want to do any more.

I think The Musketeers with its continued drops have meant its chances of being back on Sundays are hanging by a thread. Would be madness to put it back at 9pm.

A new series of Lewis was announced last week by ITV.

Rising Star will certainly give a higher lead-in to what follows it than the poor performing Dancing On Ice.

Mr Selfridge could work in a less crowded time of year.

DOI is sleepwalking now, it's a show that never will be seen again in two weeks and so long as it doesn't crash below 4 million, ITV can give it a reasonable burial. Yet don't forget it was a real ratings banker for the third channel in 2006-07 when ratings hits were in short supply and regularly attracted 10 million viewers. It was never particularly bad, the sets and choreography were first rate, just it started to attract the usual zelebs.

I suppose it all depends on what they may have to replace it, its all well and good saying it should be moved but I wouldn't do it just to swap with DIP.
