Yes it is all speculation at he moment, but you do seem to be getting worked up with these articles being posted. Its not the end of the world if she leaves, I'm sure you'll still watch t.

I'm not really bothered, I don't watch it so it won't affect me. Although what is making more of it that really needs to be is Samuel slagging her off as soon as there is a sign she's leaving. Quite unfairly.

Stranger things have happened. Susanna Reid said she bled BBC...and look how that changed!

And now we wait and see.

No he does, because the reason this thread has become unreadable is that any praise/criticism for a show is put down to channel bias, so unless your one of those people that are biased in that way there's no point in you posting as it'll be dismissed in that way. Yet if you are it's all great dick-waving fun.

It's a pathetic and childish game of one-upmanship that I wish would stop, no wonder people leave this thread.

Talk about ratings and progs FFS, and try to be unbiased about it.

sheesh.

Some actual news which might actually affect the ratings of one of the BBC's highest rating shows - the regional news. In England it's being bumped down the EPG to channel 141 with BBC1 England HD taking 101, complete with blank screen during the regional news. The HD variant of BBC1 NI/Wales/Scotland will remain on 101 carrying the relevent news.

http://www.a516digital.com/2014/03/b...to-become.html

Now OFCOM has always had rules in place stating 101-105 have to be direct simulcasts in order to switch, so why this has suddenly changed is anyones guess but it's a huge risk for the BBC and a fairly significant change announced just three days before it occurs with zero consultation.

If people are resorting to personal comments it shows them up to what they really are.

Kylie leaving TVUK is a huge blow ratings wise. She is the glue that's sticking the whole show together. Will I.am won't come back next year he only returned because Kylie was brought in.

I think they should get Adele. Kylie isn't even a good singer.

They do that with BBC2, BBC3 and BBC4 now anyway. The HD versions have swapped places on the EPG with the SD versions.

No way Adele would do it. She's extremely successful.

The Sun has a headline she is leaving, then at the end of the article say that the BBC is talking to her re filming dates, seems a massive contradiction.

Last year people said Jessie J was a massive blow and it wouldn't recover.........

It's the second best rated Sport Relief, only 0.04m down from 2010.

Good memory. To be honest though this is said of every show that lose a actor/presenter. Anybody remember Death In Paradise?

I dont get the appeal myself but you cant argue with those figures. It seems BBC1 cant do anything wrong at the moment.

This is what I was saying. It dosent actually say she's quiting it's all just speculation. Stil it's a bit of publicity for the show.

Great for Sport Relief, I didn't think it would do that well, dread to think what ITV's figures were.

They have a caption on screen anyway saying 'switch to 101 for regional news'. They'll just change that to 141. The difference should be minimal and if people have Sky HD then they should be able to use a remote. They might end up with lower HD figures and higher SD figures at 7pm though, when people don't switch back.
