I can't hear moaning, but I can read a consensus of tonight's programme.
Not my fault I myself, and others have expectations of Jonathan Creek.

The whole marriage dynamic was already established in 'The Clue of the Savant's Thumb'.
Jonathan Creek is a drama that prides itself on detection and magic; that's what makes it stand out from the other mystery shows. Yet tonight there was very little of either, nor was there a coherent mystery. As I said before, plenty of random happenings, which didn't tie into one another.

“It was a decent hours telly and I would much rather watch 3 episodes of JC of this calibre than a whole series of Edge of Heaven or even Law and Order UK. It's a TV programme, not real life.”
It was bog standard filler. I enjoy Renwick's quirky writing as ever, but the plot was very weak.
And given the choice, I'd much rather drink a gallon of tomato juice than stare at Katie Price's bazongas.

Errr, who exactly here professed that they can do a better job than Renwick? Very lazy generalisation of FMs.
