People have already started to turn against Susana Reid over the last week. The constant articles about her getting paid £1million a year does not sit well with a lot of people in the current economic climate. Now that it has surfaced that Reid has been the alleged instigator of her marital breakup, public opinion of her will be further damaged. All these constant front page articles about Reid's future already makes the new Itv Breakfast project a flop. The pressure and media attention is so intensified now, that unless there's an immediate or quick uplift in ratings for Good Morning Britain, the media and press will deem the show as a flop. And like we've discussed before, us Brits love to build people up and then knock them down. Reid is going to be knocked down over the next 2 years.

I wouldn't eve listen to that gobledegook, she's moving to ITV of course her public perception is in tatters, of course everyone hates her now - only in his head.

Just wait and see, H of De Vil, wait and see. History has told us this will happen once again.

You do post some absolute rubbish at times, what on earth has she done to deserve you being so gleeful about her marriage breakdown?

To be fair I did not have a problem with it really - certainly not as good as the old days but I could easily name half a dozen dramas from the last year that were worse. Maybe its some peoples expectations that were too high.

It would seem that in his anxiety to have a dig at Sherlock, David Renwick forgot what it is that made Jonathan Creek a success in the first place. We all want to try and solve the mystery before Jonathan, but not by seeing the solution right at the start.

I'll be back next week in the hope that we'll get a better episode and a better mystery, but lots of others may not be so patient. I can sadly see it take quite a big hit in the ratings.

edit: Just saw the post above Gogglebox. Forgot that was back next week. So that will be the main benefactor of tonight's disappointing episode of Creek.

Im not taking glee from her marriage breakdown. Just saying how all of this will go down with the audience at home. She will not come off well from all of this.

Surprised no-one has commented on Graham Norton's hyping of Ant and Dec tonight and previewing their show tomorrow. Has the Beeb scored an own goal here just when the TVUK will be struggling for momentum....?

Our expectation is not to be told the solution to the mystery before Jonathan even knows there's a mystery to solve.

Graham Norton's show is now under production by Itv Studios. My theory is that it's because of this Itv Studios link that Ant and Dec are appearing on it. Saturday Night Takeaway is also an Itv Studios program. The pressure is on SNT to overtake TVUK tomorrow.

ABC breathes a sigh of relief as their Thursday heavyweights return with Greys Anatomy and Scandal both winning their slots with 3.1 and 3.4. Scandal has been a real success story growing from a bubble show to become top scripted show of the week on network telly, can't wait for its return on More4 later in the year. They work great as a pair but you would have to be very tempted to move Scandal to a 9pm slot to try and boost a 10pm show next season, Shonda Rhimes has another pilot this year as well.

CBS shakeup seems to have worked with ratings inching up slightly, The Crazy Ones and Mom seemingly battling for a second season. Elementary hit hard by Scandals return though.

Do you think it will work? Sometimes he seems just too smug and unlikeable to me - hows that going to come across? Anyway I will give it a go but not too hopeful.

Yah no idea why they do that. Although in fairness the clip they showed wasn't very funny. Plus the other two guest seem to be up stages them but it's still early.

Am not sure. He always strikes me as a guy to interview not the other way round. Still I like him so will give it ago.

New to Channel 5 network in w/c 15th March

* Live Boxing returns with the first two quarter-finals from The Maxi Nutrition Knockout;
* Castle returns to Five with new episodes;
* Killer Elite [2011] is the movie premiere on Sunday;
* 5USA adds new US drama Ironside to its schedules.

Not confirmed yet but it looks like Suspects might be going on one of Five's beloved mid-series breaks. (Castle taking the Weds 22:00 slot?)

RTE's The Late Late Show (which tonight is picking Ireland's Eurovision) has descended into arguments/accusations of a biased panel/shambles.
I'm holding out hope for Father Ted's "My Lovely Horse" personally.

ITV could be in for a series low for the slot tonight below 2million in not out of the question. And I suspect next week when Gogglebox returns JC will drop and Edge Of Heaven will sink even lower. If I were ITV i would put in a rpt of Doc Martin if EOH is below 2million tomorrow.

My predictions

Jonathan Creek 7.2m (next week potentially 1-1.5m drop to around 5.7m)
Edge Of Heaven 1.9m inc+1 (drop even further to 1.5m)

Gogglebox will return strongly to 2.2m
