Depends. if they were consistent you could justify that. If Suzanne tried that routine she would score less technically and compete artistically, but Jason would complain she wasn't challenging herself doing new difficult things. They just criticised Hayley for not doing tricks, marked her highly last week for avoiding tricks, and congratulated Ray for not needing them - thats not consistent.

Sam has been taking whole weeks off his musical according to some reports - it shows as he's better when not part time.

The understudy is getting some stronger reviews though.....
