How was that 34 compared to Hayley's recent multiple 9s and 9.5s. It was several orders more difficult.

I loved Beth, but as usual she is not getting the scores from the judges

Only 8/10? I thought she did a never seen before jump.?

That was very good and entertaining for me. She is way better than Haley who I bet gets scored more for less difficult content.

Well we all know which girl they want in the final (rolleyes)

They bashed her every week last year and still won. Never in a skate off either.

The scoring has been a joke all series.

Judges clearly leaving room in the scores for Hayley and Ray (where's the eye-roll smiley when you need it?!)

Whose been? Only just turned over, I was watching some real skating

Is it just me or was that very similar to Laura's routine of that song a few series back? I'm wondering if they're using older routines for the ones that didn't win The Duel before (as they require less choreography since Torvill and Dean weren't there all week) and then the ones that won The Duel will skate to what they would have skated to if they'd lost?

Well it was the same song, the outfit was VERY similar and Laura even did a backflip in it...

Beth did well; I think she should be through to next week.

She did the pre axel move that no one has done before - though Kyran has done a full axel on youtube since his series. . The over the head move was done, a bit better, by Clare back in series 2. I seem to remember Suzanne did it too.Its still pretty rare and idfficult stuff though.

The marking is silly - anyone doing those moves isn't going to be as concentrated on their acting. if you are an actress, its easier. And if you avoid difficult moves anyway its much easier to act it.
