Help, need a recipe for red velvet muffins specifically using beetroot instead of red colouring. It is for a very special person for a specific reason, so please just take that and no quips about beetroot etc, please this is so important to me, thank you.

Did you try googling? Because I found this in about 20 seconds http://freshhomecook.com/blog/2013/0...lvet-cupcakes/
The cardamom frosting sounds delicious, however if you didn't like that, you could just do the standard cream cheese.

Going to sound really dumb but...the receipe is for cupcakes so is it just the different baking tin cases (i.e. I'll use my muffin tin with muffin cases)
Sorry for sounding so stupid but this is so important (obviously not on the scale of world peacce but you know, to me)

Cupcakes and muffins are pretty much interchangeable. I think the main distinction is that cupcakes tend to be frosted or iced and muffins aren't.

In short, it's perfectly fine to use your muffin tin and muffin cases to make the cupcake recipe.
