Lovely picture! Just saved it to my computer, and am now using it as my wallpaper!

It's hard to believe that it's the same woman who played Sue White in Green Wing over eleven years ago!

This is her on Green Wing, if there's anyone who hasn't seen the C4 show:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2-FCzBV2tU

I saw Michelle Gomez earlier this year on Psychob*****s playing a few 'dead' people, including Mary Queen of Scots. I wonder if anyone has seen that programme?

I discovered just now that Michelle Gomez is on twitter, going by the name of Ms Argenta Gold.

Does anyone else know about this? Or is it just me?

Just came across these:

Peter Capaldi's Doctor dressed as Clara:

Sue Perkins dressed as The Eleventh Doctor:

I thought they were hilarious!

Has anyone seen these before?

Sorry if this has been posted before as the article is a couple of years old now, but it's new to me.

It turns out you can explore the Tardis console room with Google street view. This tells you how to do it:

I didn't know if this might be of interest to anyone here. It's something I put together a couple of weeks ago and have posted to a couple of other forums since then, so apologies if you've seen it before.

It's an attempt at a timeline of how Doctor Who came back, using cited quotes, references and links, rather than hearsay.

It's here if you fancy a look:

This is very good, but all he information has been mentioned in various books, noticeably this one:

http://www.telos.co.uk/product/back-to-the-vortex-pb/

Also, other info about how the TV Movie came about and attempts that were made to have Paul McGann in a series, is mentioned in this book:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/372/dp/00071...=9780007105915

As we all know, the series ever materialised and DW went on hiatus again until RTD took up the reins in 2005.

Well indeed - and as you may note if you look in the back, I was one of the contributors to "Back to the Vortex" - but as you say, it's in "various books" and other sources. I just wanted something that drew it all together in one place, which I don't think anything else quite does at the moment.

Also, other info about how the TV Movie came about and attempts that were made to have Paul McGann in a series, is mentioned in this book:

Yes, the making of the TV Movie is very well-covered in "Regeneration", which is why this timeline isn't covering any of that - it's specifically about events *after* the TV Movie, as the 1989-1996 period has been well discussed elsewhere.

From the Popbitch email . . .

Which big TV show had
production halted for a
fortnight for rewrites when
Beeb bigwigs learned the season
finale was a child suicide
bomber storyline?
That Maisie Williams is a wrong-un, I tell you.

The more I read about that NV bloke the less I like him.
That Headmaster's farewell video for the primary school children to view and enjoy, NV ordering it to be taken down just because the last 10% of the video had 'his' TARDIS at the end was pretty bad sportsmanship.
NV doesn't have a licence to stream images of the BBC owned TARDIS, nor does he have a licence from Chappell Music to stream the DW theme.
Pot, kettle, black, comes to mind.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you can buy a paving slab just like that online somewhere.

Frank Cottrell Boyce and AL Kennedy will be discussing writing for Doctor Who at the Bath Children's Literature Festival on 3rd October, according to the Daily Telegraph.

I can think of better people...
