I think its stature will continue to grow. To me it has surpassed Blink and I would seriously consider calling it 'the greatest episode of all time' (although I don't objectively think such a thing exists). It was just virtuoso in every department: writing, acting, direction, musical score. On top of that it's one of the rare episodes that push the envelope of what can be done with Doctor Who. It's also a rare case of an episode not only being entertaining or moving or intellectually stimulating but morally uplifting (for me at any rate). That is where I think it pips Blink. And then, for the icing on the cake, they put on the topping of one of the most exciting cliffhangers in the show's history.
This will be a standout episode for fans discovering the show and viewing it with unjaded eyes and perceptions free of received opinion. A 'classic' in the true sense of creating a legacy and fostering a regard that grows rather than wanes.
