Could we have a warning with links like this.

Something along the lines of 'This might make grown men a bit teary eyed at work and force them to do a pretend yawn so others might not twig on that they are being a bit soft'

You know something like that.

(Appears, Nelson from Simpsons-like. Points at Camera Obscura)

HA ha. You flippin' softie, you!

(Shrugs. Clicks on link. Has a look.)

Ah, shurrup. It's just a touch of hayfever, I tells ya.

Well that's made me feel my age. Cheers for that.

Still looking good, though. (Well, Caves is anyway!)

It made me smile, not cry. I forgot though, a lot of people on here get a bit soft at regenerations anyway.
I'm with CAMERA - I had a tear in my eye when I read that, too (though we all know that's not unusual). Lovely story.

"Sherlock and Dr Watson are known as Curly Fu and Peanut in China"

This had me cracking up
Sorry, I fail to find anything amusing in my beloved Mr Freeman being called PEANUT! I am mortally offended on his behalf, and may cut off diplomatic relations with China until they apologise.

(Seriously, it is funny in a weird way.)

And saw this pic on doctowhotv.co.uk, love the divide between doctor and almost doctors :

http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/wp-cont...ast-supper.jpg

In the bottom picture, who is between the valeyard and Peter Cushing? The Curator?

What about the other side of Cushing, the one in green? I assume thats Rowan Atkinson next to green guy?

Looks like the curator to me.
Richard E Grant's Doctor?

And why's Tennant in the true Doctors twice?
And where's Joanna Lumley, Hugh Grant and Jim Broadbent?
And why isn't "The Next Doctor", David Morrissey, in the almost Doctors? it would've helped make up the numbers, at least.

I suppose you could have had Richard Hurndall in there somewhere too.

Still like it though. Thanks for posting!

I think Tennant is being counted twice because of the metacrisis. He counts as two regenerations even though he didn't change his face.

Thanks GDK, yup as Thrombin says, Tennant regenerated but kept his face so whoever few this had metacrisis in the bottom half and two "versions" of Tennant in the top half

Saw this today which may interest those into the animations of lost episode. It interested me because of the poor infrastructure in Oz :

I don't think he'd be the next Tom Baker if he plays it dark. Tom Baker wasn't particularly dark. He played it alien in terms of eccentricity and contrary reactions but he was essentially a very genial and funny Doctor.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the idea of a dark Doctor. I want him to be likeable.

Dog-tor who. gallery of all the doctors as dog's. Just a bit of fluff I know but I found it amusing. Seems to me they've put more effort into the classic who doctor's than the new who one's in my opinion.

Just realised I posted this without posting the link to what I was talking about, so apologies if anyone thought I was going a bit loopy here's what I meant

click 'view gallery' to see the individual pics of each one.

Interesting article about the special fx in 50th anniversary episode and the regen scene

http://www.kasterborous.com/2014/03/...nt-doctor-vfx/

I'm sure the full interview with Will Cohen is out there somewhere. In fact....
