Stewart Lee's column in The Obverser today talks about the BBC not being very good at preserving their history. And plenty more Beeb related. Amongst the examples are;
"...the Troughton era Doctor Who serial 'Embarrassment of the Inseminoids", where Doctor Who lands on Mars with a sign on his TARDIS saying "Martian Benders" and punches Jamie in the sporran when his tea arrives cold." (What could he possibly be alluding to there. Heh.)
The artwork has a drawing of the TARDIS with said sign.
The article ends;
"....Doctor Who, that curious, questing, idealistic creature who embodies everything we so want to believe should also define the BBC."
Like that! Worth checking out, unless you can't stand Stew of course!
Edit: Sorry, don't know how to do links. Oh, his short list for the Thirteenth Doctor is, um, interesting.
