I am on Freesat from Sky (we have no aerial signal or cable here so it has to be satellite). My TV is bust and being short of cash, am considering a Currys Logik TV which actually had decent reviews.
The problem is I can't find a code for the model using even the latest Sky remote. Looking at various forums this seems to be a common problem with budget TVs - and sometimes more expensive ones.
Does this render the TV unusable or can I still access the Sky programmes and functions albeit having to use both the TV and the Sky remote?

having no code simply means you won't be able to control the volume on the TV with the sky remote (or turn the TV on/off), it doesn't stop it working with the sky box.

Thanks I can live with that if necessary. I just didn't want to buy a TV which I can't get to work

You need to buy a 'real' make, not just a badge - in order to get a Logik set to work you would probably need to find out from Currys what actual make the set is (and the stores probably wouldn't know, or tell you something entirely untrue), or manually scan through all the options on a Sky remote.
