Had someone had a word in his ear?[*]So sorry to see Suzanne go - were it not for the stupid team challenge she'd still be here.[*]The judges manipulation finally worked (for a few minutes) when Beth ended up bottom of the leader board. Payback for last year? [*]Nicky said neither Suzanne nor Kyran deserved to be in the skate off. Maybe I am being cynical here, but I get the feeling they want Beth out, don't know why. Hayley is a nice girl, but she hardly skates and all the judges seem to do is bang on about performance and acting.

At least Karen acknowledged (at last) her performance side is on a higher level than the technical side. When she said now they are looking for the full package, was she actually saying 'You're a great dancer but your skating isn't good enough'?

Good spot on the last one. He cam't mean Ray, Sam did well this week. So he must either mean Beth and Hayley, or be talking nonsense.

Yes but thats after making her top girl multiple weeks and giving her high marks for one of her least difficult routines. The show is just so wrongheaded. If they must editorialise who should stay and go, they at least need to be consistent and not build everyone up one week before explaining why they shouldn't make the final the next week. The judging fails at the first stage of being consistent. That leaves some contestants frustrated, some trying too much , and others coasting till the judges throw a spanner at them too.

1. Jason's job on the panel is to mark performance; it's Robin (Nicky) and Karen's job to comment on the skating skills.

2. If they did as Karen suggested and had separate technical & performance marks I think Beth would have scored higher for technique, very low in performance; Hayley slightly lower in technique, but far higher in performance & so would still be the stronger of the 2.

3. Suzanne may still have been there if it wasn't for the team match - had it gone to form then it would have been Beth & Kyran in bottom 2; Suzanne may still also have still been there if more viewers had voted for her.

4. Judges manipulation? Oh please! As if they really care.

5. Suzanne & Kyran shouldn't have been in the skate off, so who? Beth & Sam would have been my choice.

I may disagree with your points; but it's nothing personal! Vive la difference!

1. Sam does better when he avoids his musical more. Perhaps he should only sign up for one thing at once, and not disapoint one lot of fans.

2. Beth has a big vote.

3. The routines still decide how well people do in the marks that week. Even Ray looks duller in a dull routine, Hayley needs a great story to be able to act it, and Suzanne tops the females when she gets a complete routine.

4 The twist probably saved Sam from the bottom two , and him or Kyran from going , but removed Suzanne. Who on earth thought that was a sane thing to do?

5. The show has lost all narrative, and the competition is dead. The story was created in some weeks that Hayley was the contender. Then it reverted to Suzanne being the contender to Ray - because she was the best combination of skill, performance and wow factor. This week, the nail was banged into Hayley's coffin - with a stream of judges suggesting she lacked difficulty. Beth's performance skills were also questioned for the second week in a row. Suzanne then got the nod again as top female and challenger to Ray - only to be thrown out by the twist. They now have to undo the damage they have done to both surviving females ' case, or make, vote free, Kyran and Sam into contenders. Otherwise, its all just a Ray coronation - unless Hayley wins for being on TV, or Beth wins for improving most and being nicest.

No offence taken - but point 2 - Hayley did very little skating; Beth would have annihilated her technically.

Point 3. Had Suzanne remained in her rightful position I believe she had enough support to go through.

All maybes and what ifs.

Oh and well done to the GBP for stuffing it to the judges by putting Beth through.

I wonder if Karen giving Suzanne an unwarranted 10 after Suzanne said in her VT that she would very much like a 10, put some people off voting for her, as if, she was going to get a 10 no matter what she did, and Suzanne did have a clumsy landing from her last lift.

1. I'm gutted that Suzanne is out. If it wasn't for that ridiculous Team Challenge, then I think she would have probably avoided the Skate Off.

2. I thought the girls performed better than the boys in the Team Challenge.

3. Had there not been such a big thing about Sam being in the Skate Off a few times now and had he not been there a few times, I think he would have more than likely been in the bottom two again.

4. It will be interesting to see how Hayley gets scored on her solo routine next week. I have a feeling that they'll try and hide her skating ability behind another jazz hands, stage-schoolesque routine.

5. I don't want him to win, but I would be astonished if Ray doesn't win the final.

Jason would not be impressed by the couple that just won the Olympic Gold...No jazz hands, no "expressiveness", other using their bodies, in fluid, graceful, technical brilliance. No hamming it up, "acting" but huge difficulty and skill. Jason would not like that. Hopefully Robin will remember that, after seeing the real thing and realise how good Beth really is.

1. I feel that the show is being manipulated to get certain results. Before the team challenge even started I said that the boys would win it to save Kyran from the skate off and ensure Beth was at the bottom.

2. Beth was given a poor mans version of Laura Hamilton's Hairspray routine (why couldn't they invent something new?) and I don't think she performed it as badly as they made out.

3. I'm not impressed with the begging for 10s and attitudes to the skate off by certain competitors.

4 and 5. I don't think I have anything else to say.

1. Ray is the stand out and will be gutted if he doesnt win he deserves it
2. Glad Beth is popular with the public
3. Yesterday was the first time I liked Sam
4. Boys were better in the team challenge
5. Shocked that Suzanne went out if it wasnt for the team challenge then she would have stayed

The DOI judges & also the Strictly judges when talking about performance place way too much emphasis on facial expressions.

A bit bizarre too when none of the judges have any significant acting experience - almost all the allstars have more.

On the other hand when they put a senior actor on the judging panel who was qualified to comment people didn't like it when she pointed out who couldn't act well.

Did you notice the other absurdity this series when the panel all congratulated Hayley for not being as cheesy as usual in one routine. You couldn't dream up a more destructive comment for an actor - let alone an extremely succssful one. It was a gem, from a panel where only Jason has played majorly dance roles in theatre , Robin was no Olivier in Grease, and the other two don't act.
