Due to stony silence I’ll try to answer this one for you.

I’m not a 100% sure on this but I think the ones that are marked as “for the ****” are probably data sims for the internet only so you would not be able to make phone calls but if you’re just using the tablet for the internet and apps the data sims are what you need. Like I said though, I am only assuming this but think that’s right as it’s similar to my set up using a Mifi device as these generally use data Sims too.

As for size of the sim you buy the one that fits your tablet or if there larger sims you need to carefully cut them to fit so it’s best just to get the right one in the first place if there available. I thought only the latest iPads use the nano sims but again I could be wrong.

any micro sim will work.

you are obviously best off with one on a data plan only.

'for ipad' is ideal provided they will give you a micro sim.

I have the original 3G Nexus 7 and use a Virgin SIM which is £5 a month for 500MB - or you get get 1GB a month for £7. 500MB is enough for me as I don't use my Nexus away from Wifi very often.

There are several 30 day pre-paid SIMs but I got sick of having to hunt down the best deal every month.

Yep, I have Nexus 7......data SIM.......simply the data usage on the tablet is reduced from my mobile contract of 1GB data. Charge here from Orange in Spain is €3,00 per month for the actual SIM.

Best wishes.
