Words fail me!! There is no mask - this is so stupid. I can't believe that people would so readily believe that she actually meant to send a silly tweet like that to cause trouble. Anyone ever heard of hackers?? It's so like Suzanne isn't it to do something like that and so like Matt to lie and cover it up - NOT!

It's not the tweets that people are necessarily basing their judgement on now. A newspaper article has direct quotes from Suzanne saying that Hayley isn't a great skater. Her twitter account may have been hacked but if the quotes are to be believed (and taking the libel laws into account, there's no reason to disbelieve them), then the sentiment behind the tweet is still Suzanne's.

Beth will be screwed if Hayley beats Sam on the scoreboard in the semi. But I think it will go like this:

Ray 5 + 5 = 10
Beth 2 + 4 = 6
Hayley 3 + 3 = 6
Sam 4 + 2 = 6
Kyran 1 + 1 = 2

Ray 4 + 4 = 8
Beth 1 + 3 = 4
Hayley 2 + 2 = 4
Sam 3 + 1 = 4

There's no way of knowing where they'll place on the scoreboard in coming weeks but fingers crossed for Beth. For all we know she may even be topping the vote.

Yes but the newspaper isn't exactly known for it's accuracy. Suzanne has since tweeted

'Never been hacked before! Got it all sorted now! The tweet made me laugh as that would never be my order!'

Now i'm not one to naively believe everything I read but I do believe she was hacked and as I have worked with the media for the last 15 years I know how badly they can misinterpret 'supposed direct quote's.

I've said this before (as have others) but -

Accuracy is one thing, directly quoting someone with something they have not actually said is quite another. I can't believe a national newspaper would be so stupid as to make up or even misinterpret actual quotes - it would leave them in an extremely precarious position legally.

I know someone who was interviewed by a paper - asked for her opinion - by the time it appeared in the national newspapers it was more along the lines of what she said than an exact quote. Suzanne could simply have said (in answer to a question) that Hayley wasn't the best skater!

Maybe Hayley should tweet "Suzanne Shaw is a bitter cow who is just jealous of my career and support" and then of course follow that up with a claim she's been hacked!!

Not saying Suzanne was hacked not saying she wasn't hacked but all I will say is it is a rather strange tweet for a hacker to put. Generally it's spam links weight loss, earn millions by clicking here type of thing and trying to infect people with virus's etc not usually something so specific and detailed and very much related to what that person has just been doing. Unless of course they have been hacked by someone close to them who would potentially have access to or know how to access their account and would know how they were really feeling.

I think and could be wrong she has had a moment of weakness for whatever reason and tweeted it and then when it's all kicked off has thought better of it and well blaming a hacker is the easy way out of it.

I don't think she would split Beth, Kyran and Sam and produce an order in public. They are all friends, all contending at a similar level, and I doubt an order is that easy to do between them. I think the most able allstars have a pretty good appreciation of who is good at what, but that may not produce an easy ordering, or one you would want to say openly.

She's since tweeted that the order in the offending tweet wouldn't be her order if she tried to write one.

I don't see a problem. The DS article repeats the argument made by every judge this week. Its pretty much true. Suzanne knows more about skating than two judges and more about performance than all 4, so she's perfectly qualified to say what she thinks. If she's been asked the question she either says nothing or the truth. She's hardly unique either. Kyran questioned whether skill mattered on the show the same night - and noted it was silly to have Suzanne in the skate off when she was doing the more difficult work. There's only one contestant who has been labelled as having too few skills - Nicky even implied she should be in the skate off, while Karen said she wasn't doing enough. When it came to duel week, Ray also doesn't raise any question about who is his closest female contender is - he came out with a pretty accurate assessment of Suzanne's strengths - which suggests he has looked at the alternatives as contender to him too.

If the whole DS story has any basis in fact, its interesting for two other reasons

Firstly, it raises the question whether Suzanne was asked about anyone else - if not, the question is designed for a pre decided purpose. If yes, it would be interesting to know how she assesses the rest of the competition. If that was asked, and answered, it should have been published too, as it changes the context.

Secondly , it directly confirms the suspicion that some raised on here - that the team challenge was shaped by Hayley's ability. The boys, you could add, was shaped by Ray's lifting ability , but coped with that by letting Kyran and Sam do something extra in their lifts, and by letting Ray do his own big trick to keep the overall level up. Its interesting when speculation on here actually turns out to be true.

As if people always sue newspapers like the Star for making up quotes.

Which is why the Star would be daft to make up a quote like this. They aren't claiming a source said that Suzanne said it - they are claiming that Suzanne said it.

Incidentally, Suzanne doesn't seem bothered about what the 'hacker' tweeted, given her muted response. She doesn't even seem that bothered that her twitter account was hacked. An apology to Hayley wouldn't go amiss - even if Suzanne was genuinely hacked, the tweet came from her account and she should feel bad about it (I know I would be bl**dy mortified if I was her).

Good on her for being brave enough to say it.
Its about time Hayley was brought down a peg or two. Egotism and self importance are not attractive features and Hayley has both in abundance.

I would have said the same thing about miss shaw....talk about a sore loser.....and she is, let's not forget that! !!!

Calling a silly z-lister brave is an insult to all those who genuinely are brave. Especially as all she's done is slag off someone publically. Hardly something that's deserving of praise.

Never mind Twitter, DS or the papers - I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been phoning or texting each other with metaphorical high fives as the publicity this has created.

She did indeed and she should still be in there because she is a better skater than Hayley. Even if she didn't say it, it is still the truth.
