What In Your Opinion Is the Best Thing About Doctor Who
Capaldi_Capaldi

What Makes Doctor Who what it is?

Is it the fact anyone can play the lead role?
Is it the Merchandise is just endless?
Is it because you can Listen to it, Watch It, Sing Along to it, Read It, Collect It, Write About It or even just thinking of the possibilities of what could happen in the future?

To me it's the DVD's and the Multi Doctor Stories

I can think of one thing I don't like about Doctor Who and that's not being able to keep up with all the different threads asking what I think about best doctor/worst companion/silliest exit/craziest shoe laces/most emotional comment/single preferable note of soundtrack music. Is there a thread starting competition that no one told me about? Is there a prize going.

To the Op- you start alot of threads but never seem to engage in them and never explain why you like or don't like something. Just stating your favorite something or other isn't really the point. Why?

Barely any of these threads ever reach beyond page 2 because there's always another one along straight away knocking the others down the page. So someone starts a Best Effects in Classic Who thread and minutes later we have an opposing thread about New Who. It never feels like a discussion. More like being talked at and seeking to dominate the forum. And its getting silly. Again.

Sorry, OP, but I have to wholeheartedly agree with saladfingers81 here. In fact, he has put it very well.

Although i'd steer clear of making things personal here, he raises some very valid points - as a few others have in the past also. Please take note of them.

This is forum, a community, and somewhere to join in and have fun discussing, contributing and to enjoy conversing with other fans of the show. It is not reasonable to arrive and then try to dominate it by flooding the forum with new topic after new topic - many of which are of dubious merit to be fair.

In the OP's case, since joining on 24th January there have been 33 new topics raised.

I would urge the OP to search the forums, and contribute to other peoples threads little more instead of raising new ones all the time.

Also I love how the actors portray their characters properly

OP, I have to ask you this - do you actually read anyone else's comments on your threads, and take note of what they say? Or do you just plough ahead like a juggernaut determined to put down whatever thought crosses your mind?

This is not meant unkindly, but is a genuine question. Please reply to it, as I would really like to know.

No you don't, not to the ones that matter. I have seen several posters, myself included, try to advice you over the last few days to cut out the thread starting and give it a rest.

You have never responded directly to any of those posts including the ones above where instead of giving a response you carried on with the thread.

If you carry on starting threads at the rate you are doing and proceed with annoying just about everyone on this forum you are only going to succeed in alienating everyone. You're practically there already.

Why don't you, as of tomorrow, challenge yourself not to start a thread for a week and maybe start participating in some of the other threads on this forum.

Now that I would like to see you reply to as well, like you did with Granny.

Thanks for the reply. So you read other people's opinions of your posts, but if you don't like what they say you ignore them? Perhaps you could answer the points raised by salad and davey? I would be very interested to know why you keep starting very similar threads even when it's obvious a lot of people on here are getting a bit miffed by it.

Even the mods, apparently.
