I went to my favourite restaurant the other night and my dessert came with two chocolate tortellinis. It was chocolate pasta filled with mint and ricotta and was absolutely lovely. It made me want to make some. I love it when you go out for a meal and have something you've not had before and then get inspired to make it yourself. Anyone else had chocolate pasta or made any before? If you've made it, do you have any tips?

I've had it before and must say I didn't enjoy it. There was just something about the texture of the pasta with the chocolate I didn't enjoy. I just ended up eating the hazlenuts mainly

I dislike nuts (smell, texture) so pasta, chocolate, cheese and nuts in one dish would never, ever appeal to me!

I some chocolate pasta for sale in Hotel Chocolat, and wondered what you were meant to do with it, ie main course with the usual pasta type sauces, or as some kind of dessert.
I'd try some though.

OP what resteraunt did you have yours in?

It's a local family run Italian. All their food is great but their desserts are stunning, they do a deconstructed tiramisu that is incredible.

It's definitely a dessert thing. You wouldn't want a lot of it, I literally got two pieces as part of my dessert.

I love Hotel Chocolat, it's a little more expensive than most chocolate but it's definitely worth it.
