I have seen quote a few interesting costume alternatives for the Doctor online and so have collected a few here - particularly for the sixth Doctor. Have a look and let me know what you think, and add links to any others you find.

The Sixth Doctor was his costume in black and grey, in blue and with various colours.

This is Colin in a suit and tie (added by CGI for a DVD extra). You can watch the actual special feature here (the CGI bit is at 3.26).

Now here are the 10th and 11th Doctors in Colin's colours. There is one online somewhere with the 12th Doctor to but I cannot find it!

Colin's costume actually suits Matt Smith really well lol, and the black version of Colin's costume is beautiful.

Why oh why didn't they let Colin choose his costume? It's one of the greatest tragedies of Doctor Who.

To be honest, although it seems to go against popular opinion on this forum, I like colin baker's costume as it is. The crazy technicolour coat beam's of the inner eccentricity that the doctor has inside, and looking at those variation's, they all look a bit dull and boring compared to the original.

While were on the subject of his costume, I alway's think of how they did Sylvester McCoy as merlin, and think they should have done a story set in biblical times where colin baker turned out to be Joseph. Did they even ever think to jokily say anything to that effect?

I'm with you on both of those points. Matt, surprisingly, manages to pull off that monstrosity! David, not so much!
