Problem watching recorded programme on TiVo box

Last night I was watching a programme I recorded last Thursday and there was 5 minutes left of the programme, when the picture suddenly froze. I couldn't forward, stop or rewind the programme.

I pressed the TV button on the remote to go back to TV mode and a prompt was showing saying the channel was not available, so pressed channel up and the next channel said the same thing.

As nothing happened I unplugged the box and plugged it back in which sorted the problem out.

Anyone got any idea as to why this happened? This is the first time in 15 months of having Virgin, that we have experienced something like this.

I've had TiVo for about a year and on 2 or 3 occasions the box has become unresponsive or unusable and have had to turn it off and back on again. You're lucky it's only happened once.

Don't know why this happens, maybe software bugs.
