43 - Cuarenta y Tres
Is there a better liqueur?
Spanish liqueur, lovely bottle, too. Asda had some at Christmas for £15, now £17.50 Gorgeous taste without the harshness of a 40% spirit |

Spanish brandy is by far the best in my opinion, smooth and caramelly.

I used to absolutely adore 43 after discovering it when I lived in Seville. These days, though, I can't really stomach it. It's far too sickly sweet.

I've never tried 43 but when I do have a glass or two of brandy I love the Spanish Veterano - its a cheap brandy when bought in Spain and I adore the taste.

Just to clarify, 43 isn't a brandy.
It's a very sweet liqueur which tastes of orange, vanilla and possibly even chocolate. Best mixed with fresh orange or lemonade IMO. |
