Ashley: What a way to start the series Jack! I was really impressed by the emotion that you put into that performance. You had a clear understanding of the lyrics to the track. You just need to loosen up a bit more though, you seemed a bit tight when you were skating so it looked like you were nevous.
Nicky: I have to agree with Ashley, your performance skills are already fantastic however you really let yourself down with your technical skills. The lifts what you did in that skate were quite weak so you need to master them first to be able to move onto the more complex ones and maybe improve your score.

Jason: Helen! Well to start with I have to say well done for giving the show a go at your age. It's very brave of you. You and Victor seem to have a nice bond too which is very sweet. However, I've seen more enthusiasm in a packet of frozen chicken nuggets. You seemed bored so I switched off. You're general skating was also poor and being an actress I expected more performance. Very disappointing.
Nancy: Well first of all Helen, I disagree with Jason. At your age, your not exactly going to be doing handstands and tweaking on the ice rink are you. For a first skate, you should be proud.

Michael: Not a bad first skate at all Jonathan. For you, the technical skills are what you're better at. Your lifts were extremely impressive and seemed controlled and relaxed. Your solo turns seemed a bit shaky but at this stage in the competition I expect that. Try and work on your performance more and the high scores will soon come!
Nicky: I wasn't expecting you to be that good. As Michael said, your ice skating technique is top notch and you and Frankie have a nice balance together. You seemed to enjoy it so I did, what more can we ask for?

Nancy: All I wanted to do was get up and join in! That was thoroughly enjoyable! You thrive in both your technical and performance skills and your partnership with Pavel is just sensational! You put in 100% effort and took to the ice like a duck to water!
Ashley: Jamelia! That was fantastic! I did not expect that from you! Everybody certainly was doing the Loco Motion! All your steps were in time to the music and you told a believable story...very impressive.

Jason: As a chef, I just knew you'd rustle us up something delicious and delicious it was! When I heard you were going to be on the show, I thought oh great, another middle aged man who I'll be giving a 2.0 to but that was actually really enjoyable! Your dancing is so impressive and your step ball changes were great, they are tricky to do on the ice so well done.
Michael: I'm basically just going to echo what Jason said. You're actually quite talented. I would have liked to have seen you have a bit of a solo skate however, it looks like you're capable enough.

Nancy: Kaye! That was going perfectly well until you had that fall and then it all just went messy which is a good job that it was near the end! My score was actually on a 4.0 but then you fell! I don't know what to say. I know you're disappointed but don't be, what you performed in the first half of your routine was fantastic!
Jason: Obviously Kaye you let your nerves get the better of you after you fell which is understandable. I was impressed by the quality of your skating, the lines on your legs were great and you had a couple of good lifts in there. Don't be too disheartened because if you're still here next week then it may get better.

Ashley: #cringe What happened there Matt? You seemed really unbalanced and nervous which being a performer you shouldn't be. You didn't seem to know what you were really doing. Your lifts were impressive as was your connection with Amanda but other than that not too enoyable.
Nicky: That song just turned into The Worst Song Ever. Kaye fell over and her skate was more enjoyable than yours. It felt like I'd just woken up, everything just seemed a bit of a blur to be honest.
