OH MY GOD. What?! Lucy is an essential part of the show!!! This is mad, I'm quite dissapointed really... I feel like this is all just sensationalism.

Yay! I might actually have to start watching again. I'm sure this has nothing to do with Tina being killed off on Corrie at a similar time. Nope. Not at all. Nada. Zip.

That could be interesting actually. Saying it's a 'gritty whodunnit' sounds good. They'll be Ian reeling with the loss of his daughter, Peter reeling from losing his TWIN sister (which must be very sad).

I was never really a fan of Lucy, so I'm hoping it's more about Ian, Peter etc.

How likely is it that Ian is going to have a massive meltdown over this?

It will be interesting to see what happens to him on the 30th anniversary.

Wow! I honestly did not see that coming. I thought the Beale twins would be a permanent fixture.

I cannot believe they are killing off Lucy but I am sure it will lead to some heartwrenching scenes for Ian!

I have a feeling Jane will be there to pick up the pieces.

OH MY GOD! Did not expect this... don't know how to feel yet about this..
What I am feeling is nobody was really her friend anyway so its kind of been a long time coming.

Then it says "Ian will start to question whether he really knew his daughter"
I think she will commit suicide and this will mark a change in Ian and make him closer to his family

Wonder who is going to kill her, the family of the guy Peter let drown (as revenge) seriously can't think of anyone who would kill Lucy.

Shocked and excited by this, looks like it could be incredible. Many people have been saying that all EastEnders needs is one big story to top the ratings once again, however this could be more than a big story, early signs suggest this could be a game changer....

Wow, I'm blown away by this announcement!

It mentions 'one Walford resident' being involved...I would guess at Lauren.
