Played Eve Gunjack and think it is really good - very simple game, you are just a gun turret on a space station but the graphics are good, great use of the headset to aim, really enjoyed it, the best vr experience for me so far, even if it still kept decentralising

Well, it looks like I'll be saving £400! Played a few games at my cousin's last night and I couldn't focus due to optic neuritis in my left eye
It did feel very immersive with the gold headset on too, which the full experience is all about but found all the games quite blurry as I couldn't view it properly and felt a bit woozy after about 20 minutes of play.I wanted to have a good experience as I was going to get one but the money can be used towards something else instead. |

![]() I'm really enjoying playing with the vr but I keep getting motion sickness, I'm hoping that I get over it once my body is used to the tech. Arkham VR has been my favourite so far though. |

Glad you've found something you enjoy on it mate. I've felt quite bad for you after reading your experiences.

Cheers, i had a lot of motion sickness with drive club at first but that has kind of abated now so it could be something that wears off pretty quickly as the body gets used to the experience, hopefully that will be the case. If not, i can recommend 'Phenergen' which is a very powerful anti-histamine which also works great with motion-sickness - you can buy it over the counter at pharmacies.
hopefully it'll just pass over as I don't get normal travel sick anyway.

Holy shit. That's horrible. Is it the extension part or the cable directly attached the headset?
I bought myself a new psvr thinking all was lost so might take the cable out and flog the broken one with no cable and hope they contact playstation and get a new one. |

Welk i tried for 4 hours to splice the wires together. Then when i looked at the unit i realised i could just attach the hradset directly into the processor. So im a lothappier now. Not ideal. But happier.

I am interested in VR but I'm going to wait to see if it'll be successful and supported also possibly wait for VR 1.5.

![]() Been on it for hours tonight with no motion sickness (hooray!). Discovered that the shooting ranges on London Heist are really fun and really addictive. The only problem I have is that I have an armchair with high arms so it can be tricky to reach down to the side to get more ammo. When I try and play it standing I go out of range too much. Need a bigger bedroom basically. Also decided to buy Thumper and not regretting it because it's a fun and quite unnervingly atmospheric rhythm shooter. Also made me think that they really need to release a Wipeout game in VR. Would be the perfect fit. A racer that takes place down a narrow rollercoaster track. I've only been getting motion sick on games like Eve and Scavengers Odyssey that allow more free movement so on the rails seems the way to go. |

As mentioned a few times above, i am disappointed with the graphics on DriveClub, very different to what i was expecting, however, i guess i will have to just draw a line under the whole thing and accept that whereas PS4 VR isn't as good as i was expecting due to the promo videos etc, it is still a pretty decent vr system, particularly when compared to the cost of Vive or OR.
Sony may have sold me a bit of a pup on this one, but there are enough positives so far - Eve Gunjack, The Kitchen Demo, Eve Valkyrie - for me to see that it is a worthy purchase with a lot of potential. Also, I am confident that PS5 with an updated VR will be what i was hoping from this, and i am sure it is only a couple of years away. |

Just because you can afford something doesn't make it logical to buy it lol. I could afford to buy two PSVR as well but haven't even bought one as not sold on it yet.
