OLED screen in there!
Very nice, could also be very expensive. I think I will most definitely be getting one of these. I can't wait to look like a pillock with one of these on my head. |

It sounds amazing, I just hope they hit what they're reaching for.

Sony have got the specs right, and the new screenshots look really good, a definite step up from what was shown before. If they can nail the price and content as well, then this is a must buy for me. It'll be interesting to see what type of games will be able to take full use of the 1080p@120fps capabilities. Unless there is an updated PS4 VR edition, i'm expecting the games to be fairly basic.

And while they will be encouraging devs to run at native 120fps the hardware is capable of taking a 60fps source and doubling it for 120hz output. Games such as Trine 2 and Super Stardust Ultra already run at native 1080p/120 and the makers of Project CARS said getting the game to run in Morpheus was "relatively painless" I'm really not worried about the graphics. |

It's by far the best looking VR set about, just to look at. Oculus and the HTC ones look like they're way behind in development.

"Sony seems well ahead of the competition: the original Morpheus prototype was good, and the second-gen headset is easily the closest thing to a viable, consumer-friendly piece of kit we've seen at GDC this year." Feels like Sony are nailing it. |

The Assembly announced for PS4 and Project Morpheus
https://youtube.com/watch?v=e0XVkP6lXOU Looks suitably creepy. Should be an interesting VR experience. Omega Agent, currently exclusive to Gear VR, will also hit Morpheus in the future. http://youtu.be/JYvin0lUKxw |

It's been confirmed the forthcoming ARK: Survival Evolved will have Morpheus support.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=FW9vsrPWujI Meanwhile, Sony are currently setting up a first-party studio 100% focused on Morpheus development in The North West of England. |

I'm going to hold off on this for a while, after the failure of the motion thingy (can't remember name) I'm not biting just yet.
Wish they'd make a bloody multi Media controller |

Wish they'd make a bloody multi Media controller It's right to be weary of peripherals as so many have failed in the past, but I think Morpheaus has a lot going for it. Firstly, the technology is sound - it's a credible device that does the job intended and has had praise from all quarters. Secondly, in term of support it seems fairly well covered. A number of existing PS4 games will be retrofitted with Morpheus support so there will be a ready-made library waiting at launch. Sony's first-party studios will be bearing Morpheus support in mind for appropriate games and a dedicated studio cements that commitment and support. Finally, Morpheus isn't alone in the market place. The existence of Occulus Rift, Gear VR and Steam's headset means that multi-platform VR development is a feasible proposition and much more appealing to devs and publishers than a one-off device such as PS Move. The only real uncertainly in my view is the price. If they launch at £500 they may as well forget it. The masses just won't invest. But if they are true to their word and make it as affordable as possible it could be a big success. Everything points to a big presence for Morpheus at this year's E3, so hopefully we'll see some compelling software and maybe a clearer idea of the launch date and price. Next on my horizon is a showing at EGX in September, because I can't wait to get first-hand experience of it. |

They'd be on to a winner if they make it compatible with other systems. First to market and all that.

Occulus Rift have recently announced their minimum specs for PCs - a GTX 970 and i5-4590. That's potentially over £400 in UPGRADES just to get started, or significantly more than that for anyone buying/building a PC from scratch for a VR experience. Morpheus looks as if it could be the only widely-affordable VR contender for a while. They could clean up in the VR space if they get it right. |

Felt like I took some of those Watchdogs drugs and tripped out. You solve puzzles and play with giant monster heads. So yeah, pretty trippy |
