My mum played on the VR yesterday evening and she said it was amazing. It was very funny to watch because she did ocean decent and ended up holding onto the chair in case she fell down.
I think scrap the gaming and make easy experiences for people who have money i.e those over 45 without children or children that have left home. My mum said shed get on if she could lay down on a lounger put her headset on and just sit on a beach and watch the world go by. Simple pleasures I suppose. |

I bought Sports Bar VR last night so was giving that a go. Not sure what I think yet as it seems like I was the only one playing that game. No one in the lobbies to interact with at all. Also I found myself facing in different directions and then having issues with the camera picking me up. It's the first VR game where I've ended up accidentally punching my TV screen! I'm preferring the sit down games at the moment, but that might be just me being lazy

I had another go today. My mate brought his VR into the office.
Played Arkham and had another go on Driveclub. I really liked Arkham, very immersive, and there wasn't any nausea - but then you aren't moving about quickly. The image quality at times was a bit off putting though - a couple of times Alfred's face looked like Morph - hardly any features whatsoever. Driveclub was better than last time, but I still felt a bit sick after it, though nowhere near as bad as last time. I also tried playing a normal game (Battlefront) using the headset - it was ok, but not great. Overall, I think it's pretty good, but I just wonder how long it will last. I can't help but feel it's going to be a passing phase. (e.g. Wii Fit, Guitar Hero) My go today certainly didn't make me want to rush out a buy one. |

I'm selling mine. It's not been setup for nearly two weeks now. In theory it was a very exciting piece of kit, but in reality it's just to much of a gimmick and lacks interesting content.

But still, wow. Knew I should have snapped a load up when they were cheap. Could have been making some tidy money now.

My other half was playing Skyrim on the gaming telly. I decided to try a bit of Doom on the headset at the same time Bit blurry but really playable, something with more text (like Skyrim) might be awkward. I actually did better with headset than on telly!

To be fair it's a 3rd party seller, not GAME themselves.

Move should've been included with the headset, all very well keeping costs down but it's counter productive when people are getting ripped off else where

What Sony needed to do was make more Moves. It seems demand for PlayStation VR has been more than they thought it would be. |

Perhaps, but as a longstanding PlayStation gamer that already had Move, why should I be forced to pay again for accessories I don't need?

It is not in stock but the Amazon themselves are listing the price of the headset as £332.49 right now.

This needs wider appeal. Not necessarily mass market appeal - it never will at the price point, that much is a given - but a wider appeal. One way to do that is for Sony to stop overcomplicating things with ridiculous marketing strategies: "PSVR - only £349!" "Wow, so if I have a PS4, I can get virtual reality for £349, no strings attached!" "Yes! If you have a Playstation Camera at £40..." "OK, so that's £389, I can probably stretch to that...and that's everything?" "Absolutely! Although these Move controllers are pretty snazzy...I mean you don't NEED them...although you might in certain games (but we're not going to tell you that right now)...but they'll add to the experience. They're basically essential pieces of kit (although we won't say they are)" "Alright, and how much do they cost?" "About £70....if you can find them new (which you probably can't)...if not, well, be prepared to pay a bit over the odds...but it's totally worth it!" "OK...any way I can get some sort of package that includes all these things at a subsidised cost in order to attract a broader range of gamers?" "OHHHH GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME OF COURSE YOU CAN'T!" "Alright, well, say I do take the plunge...is that finally everything I need?" "Sure! Although this PS Pro console will make everything better...and we won't tell you how long our PSVR headset is going to last for. Will it be cross-gen compatible when we release a PS5? Will we ever release a PS5? Who knows! The mystery is all part of the fun!" "Yeah. I'm out." I am obviously being hyperbolic, but this really isn't far off the truth. I know you are Sony's biggest fan but surely even you can see that the ultimate failure of Sony here has been to overcomplicate the issue - all that was needed was a standard PSVR (for "longstanding Playstation gamers"), and various bundle packages. This is a basic marketing strategy that Sony have failed at miserably. |

After digging around the loft I found my old PS3 move controllers.... happy that I decided not to get rid of them, would I need my navigation controller?

It's a bit glitchy but a great effort. |
