After digging around the loft I found my old PS3 move controllers.... happy that I decided not to get rid of them, would I need my navigation controller?
I'll give you £30 for them |

Looking forwards, Ace Combat 7 will be a full game offering this type of experience. That could be astounding. |

Bodes very well for the Star Wars X Wing mission. Can't wait for that.

Has there been any news on what sort of apps/events/experience will be available in the future which support PSVR?

I misunderstood. I thought you meant computer generated reality. My bad. I would be very concerned if I was in something that was too real!
Hopefully that can be improved. |

This thing about the resolution.
People saying that because it's only half of a 1080p screen per eye, that's why it's a crap resolution. But when I watch Sky 3D that's only half of a 720p broadcast per eye, but still looks HD. So what's the difference? Clearly I'm missing something somewhere |

I meant the 360 degree video stuff. Theres some on there but its really bad and pixelly. Not immersive at all.
Hopefully that can be improved. Real life stuff can look good, it just depends on the resolution we're being allowed to see. |

I'm guessing here but surely the fact that it's so close to your face will have a negative effect on the resolution.

My psvr arrives Thursday with the Pro, just realised that one of my move controllers may be damaged. Do you need 2 controllers?

I don't think the resolution of the screen itself is a massive issue, particularly considering the steps Sony have taken to reduce screendoor. Certain games have excellent image quality in the right conditions. It's mostly low resolution graphics and a lack of antialiasing that's the bigger issue right now, both of which can hopefully be addressed over time.
Although better graphics would, of course, be welcome I still believe fidelity is a worthy sacrifice for immersion. Driveclub on PS4 may be a damn sight prettier than on PSVR, but hand on heart I'd rather play the VR version. |

Hopefully the PSVR with PS4 Pro with boost the resolution/frame rate and help sort the motion sickness. Will find out at the weekend, if the demo version has the pro support.

Having been playing VR since launch i have just gone back to playing normal games as a friend has lent me uncharted 4, a game which i hadn't got around to buying. It's a good game but all seems a bit of an anti climax after the level of immersion felt from VR. I am not even that excited for the new Mass Effect game anymore. I really want more VR stuff now. It's definitely the way forward for gaming.
