Having been playing VR since launch i have just gone back to playing normal games as a friend has lent me uncharted 4, a game which i hadn't got around to buying. It's a good game but all seems a bit of an anti climax after the level of immersion felt from VR. I am not even that excited for the new Mass Effect game anymore. I really want more VR stuff now. It's definitely the way forward for gaming.
Yes, had the same feeling. I have finished Tomb Raider VR and the Arkham stuff and played all the demos. Now waiting for the Star Wars VR in December but beyond that not sure what to go for. Need some big named VR stuff soon.

I REALLY hope Rocksteady come up with more Arkham VR but doubt it. Wonder if the Portal VR thing will come to PSVR?

Is it OK for you? From the demo its just too uncomfortable to play for more than a few laps
I'm really enjoying it. Probably my most played game. I had my first touch of nausea a couple of days ago when I tried doing 360s in an Arial Atom. I can only blame myself for that, not a good idea.

Incidently, the VR games confirmed for Pro support at launch are -

The Assembly
Bound
Battlezone
DRIVECLUB VR
Eagle Flight
Playroom VR
PlayStation VR Worlds
Rez Infinite
RIGS Mechanized Combat League
Robinson: The Journey
Thumper
Tumble
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood

Will be happy to give impressions on the 6 of those games I have.

Eagleflight is fun. The problem on PC at the moment is that there are not enough players. I am hoping they allow cross play with psvr as well as the steam cross play already confirmed.

What sort of game is this?

Im really on the fence about Robinson this Friday. Dinosaurs in VR excites me in all sorts of ways .... But it's not getting the best reviews, and I think it's pretty expensive for the amount of content that's supposedly in it.

Anyone else getting it, or on the fence, or anything ??

Judging on Crytek's past form I'm expecting Ryse all over again - technically brilliant and artistically beautiful but as shallow as a puddle.

And just as I did with Ryse, I'll pick it up dirt cheap later on as something that needs to be experienced, but there's no way I'd pay full price for it.

The one review I've seen of it rated it pretty highly, it is the first 'proper' game for VR in many ways so it'll be interesting how its received. (I know its short a 4-5 hours but its not the first time a narrative driven full priced game has clocked in at that) I've pre-ordered it anyway so hopefully its good! :P

It's not £49 everywhere though, I picked it up from Play Asia for £32 which I thought was fair

Didnt know about playAsia. Is it reliable? Does it take longer to arrive?

32 is much more reasonable. Still too much. Hopefully its down to £15-£20 soon

I think they're pretty good, they are a little slower but it's worth it if you're after exclusives etc... They have the physical copy of Batman too for a reasonable price.

And it probably will be, although the full price VR games seem to be holding their value atm

Maybe after Christmas the prices will drop?

Some impressions on the VR Pro games I've tried so far.

Battlezone - The interior of the tank benefits the most, with increased resolution and better lighting adding to the solidity and the feeling of being there. The backgrounds are pretty much the same as before.

Playroom VR - This has received a resolution bump across the game leading to everything looking distinctly clearer. Really nice improvement.

Driveclub VR - This game needed a Pro boost more than any other, but didn't really benefit that much. Lighting is slightly better, mirrors have improved and fine details seem slightly clearer. But overall it retains its muddy looks for the most part.

PlayStation VR Worlds - This collection of experiences benefits from higher resolutions and improved lighting throughout. Ocean Descent and London Heist are the highlights though and look great on Pro.

Dont suppose you could try 1080p remote play and tell me if it looks a lot better?

I think it looks better. Then again I so rarely used remote play that I could be mistaken.

Managed a quick look at RIGS on Pro last night, and what a difference.! Really crisp and clear, with barely a jaggy or shimmer in sight. Really nice improvement.

There's an experience coming soon based on The Martian. You get to navigate zero gravity, drive the rover and see scenes from the film. Apparently it's 20 minutes long and costs $20

It's getting absolutely slated on Reddit. Basically saying that it should be free and even then it wouldn't be worth playing.

Looking forward to it. Bought Battlefront a few weeks back for £12 just for the VR.
