Nicky Slater, Katarina Witt to Return to Dancing on Ice Panel

Digital Spy can exclusively reveal that Nicky Slater and Katarina Witt will join the panel. Witt will replace Karen Barber, who is returning to the role of coach while Nicky will come into the panel as a fifth judge. Robin Cousins, Ashley Roberts and Jason Gardiner are returning to the show.

Dancing on Ice Line-Up, Professional Partners Revealed – ITV Press Release

The new line-up of popular show Dancing on Ice includes entertainers Ant & Dec and successful singer Ellie Goulding.

Couple 1 – Jo Joyner and Matt Evers skating to ‘Youth’ by Foxes.

Training: Jo is quite good at skating, and impresses Jane and Chris. However, Jo is struggling with skating fast. She is even more scared when she hears her track, a fast number. Will it be ok?

Couple 2 – Andrew Lloyd Webber and Olga Sharutenko skating to ‘Happy’ by Farrell Williams.

Training: Andrew stumbles a lot, and early on in the training he is badly hurt by an injury to the ankle. Andrew vows to continue. Andrew is worried about what the judges will say. What will Jason say?

Training: While Dec isn’t a great skater, his enthusiasm impresses Jane and Chris. He and Frankie have a good bond. Dec loves his song, will the judges love his performance?

Robin: “You performed well, but we can clearly see the nerves and the skating is quite tentative so next week control the nerves.

Training: Rebecca isn’t a very polished skater, and she’s worried about what the performance judges, Jason and Ashley will say. Rebecca progress, but her nerves are prohibiting her. Will she let them go?

Ashley: “Yeah, Rebecca, that was the best so far for me, you could be a bit more polished but I actually thought you gave a great performance.

Our fifth couple is Jeremy Clarkson and Jodeyene Higgins skating to ‘Tonight is a good night” by The Black Eyed Peas.

Training: Jeremy is a good skater, but he lacks the performance skills. “Our song is a really fast one, so the performance aspect is terrifying me. I don’t want to be the joke act.”

Training: Catherine is petrified and this shows in her skating. She slowly improves, but her confidence is lowered when in the dress rehersal she falls over. Will she do the same tonight?
