Doctor Who Companion Hurt and Heal Game

Ok, I am going to start this, hope that no one is going to throw too many eggs my way. I wanted to see what everyone thinks who the favorite companion is. I tried to pick the favorite companions for each era, limiting it to 8 companions to each era (combining the 80's and 90's). There is always going to be someones favorite going to be missing, I'm sure I will hear from the Wilf and Micky fans. But anyway, pick your section favorite then we can have the final runoff for the favorite companion in Doctor Who history.

Rules:

After three weeks we go to 12 hours between plays.
When a section drops to four companions, 2 Hurts to 1 Heal is applied.

Once the we have a the winning companion for each era, the final runoff will start to determine the best companion.

Can I vote just for NewWho companions?

I appreciate the symmetry in limiting it to eight companions for each era. But could there be a different way of slicing these up? I understand why you haven't included Wilf, tho' I do feel both Adam and Mickey should count as New Who companions. But surely we should also be allowed to vote for Vicki, Dodo and Steven for Sixties companions? Could there be ten companions in each category to allow for this? Equally, if stage one of the game is to drop the numbers down to four in each category, surely we don't need equal numbers in each, on the basis that different categories will drop at different rates anyway?

I can add Mickey, Vicki, Dodo, and Steven. Adam was only a one episode companion so he won't meet the minimum episodes required for companions (10) and then I dropped off to make the 8 to level off to make each one equal. But I want to make this what everyone wants so I will make the changes except for Adam.

You can vote for any section that you wish. There is no requirement that you have to vote for all sections to play.

This isn't a hurt and heal game! It wouldve been better to have a straight hurt and heal game with All companions and categorize them by what Doctor they are mainly with! (combining Tennant and Eccleston as they were very similar in the first two series of new who.

The issue is the game has started now, so it would loose the flow! If it was split from the start then it would be ok!

We could split but restart from the current positions of each thread. I just think it's tricky to respond and amend the last round while on the phone /tablet, it's quite a large amount of text.

Also, i don't know enough about some of the older characters, haven't watched all episodes yet.
