I wish you had mentioned something about this when I mentioned how I was going to setup the game at the beginning. I could have done something with it then. I'm just not the type to change horses in mid stream after starting the game as it wouldn't be fair. I will make changes to speed up the game but not to make changes of how the game is played.

Leave it as it is please, I'm not sure it's going the way i want it to in terms of who may win, but that's how games are , i like the consistency (and simplicity) of these rules.

I didnt think of it at the time its only after seeing how this has turned out, re the end game bit as its new, that I now see what would be the better option.

Like I said earlier though, I would like to do a new Doctor's game when this is finished (which shouldnt start till 5 days after this has finished at The_Judge's request).
When that starts it will use your format of having decades for categories and a winners game and the winners game should be done the way I have now realised would work better!

Nice to know other people are hurting Sarah too

Its not changing for this game, but the winners game on the next Doctor's game will.
We could just say that instead of allowing people to choose whether they split the hurts that that part is decided for them, but no more than 2 hurts for the whole winners game.
So when there is more than two still in the winners game you have to split your hurts, but if there is only two left you cant split your hurts unless you are taking your choice below 1!
That might be funny though if the two left are down to 1 point each and then we would have to say no splitting then!

Im currently trying to keep Sarah and Ian down to as low or lower than Clara!

its quite possible as it would only take someone hurting Sarah once and then someone hurting both and they would both be at 1 point each!

The person taking the last turn would use one of his/her points and apply it to the companion that they wish to eliminate. At that point the game is over. The other point is not used. Points are used sequentially, not simultaneously.

Ah right so they would only use one point and the other one would be null and void, as otherwise the second point would kill the winner! who wins by one point!
