Was there ever a reason in one of the DW novels as to why there were no post Doctor 5 Foctors in The 5 Doctors?

It was once suggested in Doctor Who Monthly that all Time Lords were somehow in sync with the passage of time on Gallifrey. This was never confirmed on screen but was offered as an explanation as to why (for instance) the Doctor and the Master always met in the same order (so the third Doctor never met the Anthony Ainley incarnation, and the 5th never met the Roger Delgado version etc).

So (in The Five Doctors) when the Lord President was reaching through time to capture previous incarnations of the Doctor, he could only go as far as the current model (Doctor #5) because that was the Doctor he/Gallifrey was in sync with.

It was a theory that was somewhat blown out of the water when the Master introduced the Valeyard as a future Doctor, however.

Excepting the timelines will most likely get out of sinc so only the eldest of the 'Galifrayens most likely remember! Like Matt's Doctor (and Capaldi's of course) in Day of the Doctor. Chances are the War council only remember say Hurt's Doctor later on, when they come to be rescued by Capaldi's Doctor, or later Doctors!
