Is just starting now on the BBC red button

As much as I love watching the competitions, I always fund the galas rather boring, just one or 2 exciting routines padded out by lots of sub-standard ones.

This year's gala is packed with great routines and fantastic performances, it was a nice touch when they all came together at the end to skate a short routine together, it was also tinged with sadness that quite a lot of the competitors are retiring at the end of the season!
