I can't believe that Jason marked her higher than Ray. Like **** was she better than him! And I can't stand Ray most of the time.

I feel really bad for Beth. I don't know what the judges have against her

As much as I like Hayley, and I dont like beth, but tonight Hayley doesn't seem on top form at all, and even though she's poorly, beth is the better skater.

Says it all about this show now. Ridiculous. What is the point in trying to do difficult moves, you might as just as well skate around the ice and do nothing.

She was given 10 from the performance type of view. Nobody can argue that. The two judges basing it on skating marked her down. Seems fair to me.

That is some strange scoring. And unfair. Sam,Beth,Ray and Kyran were better.
Jason is a hypocrite surely if he noticed mistakes in Rays, which by the way weren't, he could have noticed that Hayley was shaken.

Kyran and Hayley are both on 70.5 now, though. A tie has just improved Beth's chances of going through by about a thousand!

Her solo skate was rubbish. Just proved that she really can't skate very well when she's not clinging onto Dan.

I'd have given Hayley's pair performance a 9.0 at most

Glad I'm not the only one thinking this. As pleasant as it is to see her with Dan in their performance, she really can not cope with much skating on her own and that is why I can't rate her as a true ice skater or great dancing on ice champion.

And now we have seen Beth on her own ice skating, the marks that Hayley got for her first skate seem very generous to me.

As the reigning champ so they think she is rays main competition. So lowering her marks they think will give her the boot. My opinion anyway

Pleasant is exactly what Hayley's routines are. Beth's may be a bit flat?! but her skills and content are far superior.

Yes, but they sing to different tunes minute on minute. They criticised her as the weakest one minute, and then threw marks at her for yet another variant of her standard fast dance routine with similar difficulty, the same familiar lifts, and the same weaknesses in her skating. They killed her chances one minute and then moved her to be safe in the order the next.

Its just bizarre. Beth has more difficulty in both routines, and was consistently undermarked, with the virus as an extra reason. Hayley's first mark just described why her second one was too high.

What Hayley might lack in technique she makes up in performance she's a much better performer than Beth.

But why does it matter who comes second to them? if Beth has the votes, they are stuck with her. If its Sam and Ray v Hayley in the final, all that happens is Sam may take more of Ray's vote before Ray wins. The higher Hayley comes, the less credible the whole competition looks.

That's what they might be scared of? Beth might not becoming second in the vote, she might be in first place, or she might be very close to Ray each week and they don't want to risk leaving it to the public in the final.

If she's second in the voting now, it's possible to get her out due to the points/skate off situation, so why not take the chance and make sure Ray will 100% win?

Quite possibly as reigning, she already has the fan base

Well if the final three are Ray, Beth and Hayley (as is looking likely), it's obvious who the judges will score higher out of the girls

I want Ray to win, but if Beth is clearly under marked in the final (when she'll be back on form) it could at least prompt partly a sympathy vote from the public. I think she should come second but don't want her to overtake Ray
