Watching them all Ray is clearly the best, there is just a quality about the way he skates and moves that none of the others have. He does 'dance' on ice. However, I think it was mentioned in another thread, he doesn't appear to be progressing much to my untrained eye and doing the same things. We must have seen the Robin Cousins Jump at least three times and he could do that from his original series. Last night I thought that it was Sam and Kyran who had progressed the most and mastering new things each week. To me it is starting to make Ray somewhat less interesting and impressive now. Should the winner be the best skater overall, the skater who has improved the most or the most popular person irregardless of ability?”
The type of split jump Ray did last night has been done only twice (including last night), even then it looked to me there was a slight variation to it. He could do that jump in his series although he looks to have improved it, looking more comfortable and assured doing the move.
Apart from that, I see new moves from Ray, he's certainly not looking less interesting and impressive to me. Most of them repeat moves and add new elements, Ray is doing that too.
