What is the point in watching when it's clear Ray will win? He can't do any wrong in the judges eyes and is constantly top of the leaderboard??
Does anyone genuinely believe anyone else will win?

Yes. She is forgiven for mistakes that everyone else gets penalised for. I'd say she's the favoured person and not Ray.

It is getting a joke, They are just give him a 10 even before he starts.

He is the clear winner but I really hope someone else wins just to shut the judges up.

Its very clear that Ray will win they always keep him till the end and more or less the same for Haley . Hayley always has excellent choreography from Jane and Chris. They certainly took advantage of Beth not being well. Honestly think it has been a fiddle from start to finish

Im pi55ed off of reading all the immature posts on here slagging Ray off, saying he's cocky, smug, overrated, blah blah blah. He's by far the best celebrity skater the show has ever seen and it'll be an absolute travesty if he doesn't win. Which if he doesn't, by the way, will merely be as a result of the bitter and twisted haters and their anti Ray votes for someone they probably don't give a shit about anyway.

However I'm gonna say his solo skate for me was not worthy of the tens he got. Still better than everyone else which I guess why they gave him the scores they did.

When it comes to performance and natural movement on the ice, none of the others can touch him but the content of what he did in his solo skate was a bit lacking for me compare to the brilliant jumps that Kieran did. I don't know if it's because that is one of the things he isn't great at or they wanted to give just Kieran the jumps but I just felt that there could have been more technical moves in his skate.

Still for me he is the best out there and unless by some miracle Beth is not in the skate off, then he's the only other one I'm routing for.

Hayley hasn't been that favoured in choreography at all. Week 1 and last week she definitely wasn't. Suzanne had a better routine and was higher on the scoreboard than Hayley last week but still ended up in the skate off. You can't argue with that. Hayley is popular but hasn't been given the best material every week.

This week is the same - she can do better than that, but it was overmarked. But even so the order is about right - she's hardly high on the final leaderboard this week is she?

Both Sam' s routines better tonight IMO. If Ray is to win I' d rather it be with routines more like Sam's. Not sure how much say celebs have, mind you.

To those saying Ray isn't favoured, funny how Ray is always on last though isn't it? And I agree with another poster who said that the judges have 10s lined up for him before he even skates! His solo skate was not that good!

Out of interest could you just remind me when apart from tonight Ray has been on last? Certainly not ALWAYS as you state totally inaccurately but I don't recall any occasions at all!

What makes you think that going last is an advantage? It means you have to sit there and watch all your competitors going out and doing brilliant skates thereby putting you under pressure.

The judges will obviously have it in mind that he is potentially going to put in a performance worthy of a 10 - this should not surprise you as he is the best by a country mile. That doesn't mean it is preordained. He could succumb to the pressure and come out and give a poor skate in which case he would not get 10's. So far this hasn't happened but then he hasn't given a poor skate so far, nor do I think he is likely to.

It's been obvious since the very concept of All-Stars was announced that Ray was going to win. Why whinge about it now?

That said, they've messed up from a tv perspective, as they're left without the one person who could even halfway be presented as a viable alternative in this endgame. Sam and Kyran have both hit too many skate-offs at this point to be plausible, and they've pointed out time and time again the problems with Beth (can't perform) and Hayley (can't skate on her own with confidence) and they're perfectly accurate in doing so. The end effect is that the foregone conclusion actually looks like a foregone conclusion or a farce if it doesn't happen.

If they hadn't messed up the split of teams last week by going for the pointless Gender Wars stuff, then they could have easily preserved Suzanne as a contender gone forwards with a bit of mystery, but the only question left for the next two weeks now is which of Beth and Sam makes the final with Ray and Hayley.

I agree its not as exciting because Ray is clearly more talented than the rest. For me, watching his brilliant performances more than makes up for this. But you seem to be blaming the judges for putting him top? Are you suggesting that they're wrong and Beth or Hayley should be getting more points than him? You may not like the fact that Ray is topping the leaderboard, but to suggest that others should be placed ahead of him is a bit ridiculous, they're not supposed to lie.

As for the final result...who knows? The public are a funny bunch and can vote on so many things that have nothing to do with skating ability or performance, so there may still be a surprise

Suzanne on paper might have been a contender since she managed to beat Chris. But in her last week her vote didn't hold up when it had no reason not to. And then she messed up her own, best routine. She's also had a few other falls and stumbles.

So with that in mind I doubt it would have worked. It'll be interesting to see the voting breakdown over the weeks. There's no doubt Suzanne has been given some duff routines, but so have the others at times.

We don't know where Ray is in the public vote so once he reaches the final it is not a dead cert he will win.

Watching them all Ray is clearly the best, there is just a quality about the way he skates and moves that none of the others have. He does 'dance' on ice. However, I think it was mentioned in another thread, he doesn't appear to be progressing much to my untrained eye and doing the same things. We must have seen the Robin Cousins Jump at least three times and he could do that from his original series. Last night I thought that it was Sam and Kyran who had progressed the most and mastering new things each week. To me it is starting to make Ray somewhat less interesting and impressive now. Should the winner be the best skater overall, the skater who has improved the most or the most popular person irregardless of ability?

The type of split jump Ray did last night has been done only twice (including last night), even then it looked to me there was a slight variation to it. He could do that jump in his series although he looks to have improved it, looking more comfortable and assured doing the move.

Apart from that, I see new moves from Ray, he's certainly not looking less interesting and impressive to me. Most of them repeat moves and add new elements, Ray is doing that too.

I realise this goes against the grain, but I don't see Ray's routines as the best they could be in terms of content, not that this is necessarily his fault. The solo skate was more gyrating than skating!
