If they do a curry Pot Noodle, and you let the noodles absorb most of the liquid, then yes - it would I reckon!
I'm partial to a chow mein with loads of curry sauce and chips - so don't see any reason why not! |

yes but only if you put the pot noodle on top of the chips so the sauce soaks into them

All I fancied last week was egg fried rice, chips & chow mien from the local Chinese lol. It was lush. It was a weird order I know my fella had special curry.

Don't your takeaways offer half & half?

The majority, if not all, Chinese takeaways around here do half & half which is half rice or noodles and half chips.
It's quite a common dish. So pot noodle and chips doesn't sound out of the ordinary to me. |

It's quite a common dish. None of the Chinese round my way in London have this on the menu, but thinking about it…I reckon that if asked, they would do it on request. Chinese and Indian takeaways are very normally accommodating. |

The amazing Chinese I used when I used to go to B'ham offered this. 'Chips+Rice+curry sauce on one tray' is what they called it, and it was divine. I think it was about £2.20 or so. Much cheaper than buying each item separately.

I think the addition of peas is also quite common for a Chinese curry sauce. Not saying they're a must have but i've seen plenty of recipies with them.
I add them sometimes just to add some freshness and feel a little healthier. Sautee some onions, add the chinese curry powder/paste with water and simmer, add garden peas and sometimes apple or a spoonful of apple sauce or mango chutney. |
