Hi,

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I am considering purchasing a Logitech Smart radio for listening to my Spotify Premium account. Does anyone gave any experience of using Spotify on one of these devices.

I've got the Squeezebox radio and Spotify. It's the predecessor to the UE, pretty much the same radio but runs on different software.

I use the radio almost exclusively for Spotify and it mostly works very well. Only a couple of problems.

1. I think that the Squeezebox server is based outside the UK (Germany maybe?). Sometimes albums/tracks that will play on other devices with my subscription won't play on the radio because I'm in the "wrong region".

2. Playlists occasionally stop part way through and I have to manually go on to the next track.

3. I think that you still need a Premium subscription for this device.

The radio is only mono but has very good sound and a nice display. There's an optional remote control which works well.

Hi Sue, Thanks for the reply.

I thought I would ask as on some of the Logitech and Spotify forums people are saying that the playlists stop halfway through and they have to manually start just about every track and that they get loads of error messages. I suppose the people who post on those sites are the minority who do encounter problems.
