Was going to get one for Christmas but after hearing so many negative comments from people who'd bought them I thought the better of it.
They work for a while apparently and then deteriorate quite rapidly. The amazon feedback speaks for itself: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ceracraft-Ce...aft+frying+pan 58% giving it one star only. That's quite a condemnation. |

The Stoneline and Flavorstone pans do get better reviews but there are fewer reviewers.

That sounds interesting, at the moment I am searching for a decent set of non-stick pans and I mean pans that really are 'non-stick'!....and that don't cost a fortune either.

They're crap. There was a previous thread. But sorry I couldn't find it
I've got a set of three, and they are absolute rubbish. JML should be taken to task for these pans, as they are not fit for purpose. And don't do what they advertise. An expensive mistake. My pans cost £79. I contacted JML who tried to say it was my fault. In the end they offered me a voucher to the value of the pans, if I returned fhem. I said, why on earth do you think I would want a voucher to buy something from a company I wouldn't buy off off again? Very, very disappointed, to say the least. |

There is an increasing trend all over the internet where internet bloggers are being paid to write positive reviews of products and then plaster them everywhere... And every single review on your blog is glowingly positive, which makes me think that either you get the products for free or are being paid to write the reviews... |

Just looking at your 'blog' and reading your posts, can I ask if JML provided you a free pan and asked you to write a positive review?

I have used my 28cm Ceracraft frypan every single day since I bought it at the start of February this year
I have regularly mentioned using mine ever since then - in the ** What did you eat today ** thread ~ I still think this frypan is fantastic ~ and so far nothing has stuck to the interior part of the pan The only thing that has happened recently is that - it is hard to remove all the build up of marks on the outer surfaces - caused by all the every day cooking and drips I have not wanted to use anything harsh on the outer surfaces ~but I think I will have to attempt to remove these marks somehow - by using some abrasive method I may even try to soak the outside in some diluted bleach - first - which would hopefully avoid any chance of leaving any scratches behind on the surface |

Make a paste from biological washing powder and a little water, and spread it over the bottom on the pan leave overnight
Wonder why so many say these pans are rubbish then? ![]() Yes... I think I will try to do as you have described first with a paste made from biological washing powder ![]() I am not sure why others have not found these frypans to be as good as I do I recall that I seasoned mine before using it for the very first time ... as it says on the JML Ceracraft cardboard packaging I think it says that you should repeat this process from time to time - which I have done about 3 more times so far ~by putting some oil into it then heating it up then letting it cool before wiping it clean I avoid using any utensils that may scratch the interior I tend to use silicon spatulas etc , when cooking in it every day |

I remember I had a cast iron fry pan and I never seasoned it and it was rubbish, until someone showed me how I should really use it. Same with a wok.

In fact I was also sent a pan from a different company that was absolutely awful, so I haven't posted about it. All publicity is good publicity, so If I try something I don't like, then I usually wont post about it but do send my feedback to the company. |

They're fine if you baby them. If you eg burn fat onto them the non-stick surface is done and you're not getting it back. Stick to medium heat and make sure you season the pan with oil and you'll be fine. Or get a galvanised aluminium pan and stop worrying about it. (Yeah, galvanised aluminium - aluminium has never been proven to cause any kind of health problems and in any event there's a galvanised coating between the aluminium and the food anyway - not that that'll stop people spouting nonsense.)
