Still London see post 22. Also epg now populating see above.

Ive been checking your site, Ive been wondering if you were going to put any articles, about what ITV are doing with ITV HD right now, up on your site?

Humax 1000s with a south-east Kent postcode.
Box hadn't been on since yesterday until 21:30 this evening (Wednesday), all ITV HD evening recordings failed and all series links on that channel had been removed.

Didn't have any existing recordings for that channel (deleted once watched) so couldn't say if they were still viewable.

Also, no EPG data on that channel showing until early Saturday! Checked again an hour later and the EPG had begun to appear but with large gaps.

Some articles are prepared or planned well in advance, and contrary to what some think, do get researched, but there's no point in writing anything about ITV HD speculatively, and ITV plc will completely understandably not allow anyone to go on the record with their commercial plans for satellite capacity usage.

OK fair enough, Im just trying to make sense of what they are doing and some kind of proper news helps a lot. I count your site to be that when it comes to things like this!

Humax Foxsat HDR in N. Hampshire. Coronation Street scheduled from ITV HD failed last night. Did a Freesat retune before the Jonathan Ross repeat and this then recorded normally from schedule. Checked regional news at 10:30 last night and it was still London, not Meridian. Makes little difference from a viewing perspective as Meridian South East covers mostly Kent and Essex, London is slightly nearer, or at least more relevant!

Foxsat-hdr deliberately left off till this morning failed to record anything on ITV HD yesterday evening. Recording schedule is intact and failed recordings schedule has updated OK.

Test recording set from guide later this morning.

my Panny BS750 is going to need a factory reset as it's showing LCN 119 as 'invalid' - a bug in the firmware Panasonic never resolved, to do with changes of SR on existing or new TP moves. Will keep me busy for a half an hour or so this afternoon!

You may have to do it again if ITV HD London isn't your local region and your software won't handle a sid change.

It's the SR change it doesn't like. The same happened when the beeb went from 22k 5/6 to 23k QPSK 8/9. When they changed from QPSK to 8PSK that was fine, likewise when C4 went from DVB-S2 to S as the SR stayed the same it didn't matter.

Panasonic would have probably sorted it at the time but they won't now - just tell you to buy another one of their products I guess!

No problems with the BBC HD changes on either Freesat box, no loss of recording schedules.

No, it's not just you. I lost ITV HD on the 25th, then had it OK first thing today (27th) and currently (7pm) have lost it again. Says 'invalid channel number'.... All other channels HD and non-HD working fine. Channel 119 showing 10/10 for strength and quality so really weird...

ITV HD London (10000) that was on 10832 H 22000 and
ITV HD Granada (12130) that was on 10994 H 22000 both seem to have moved.

New TP
London (21000), Granada (21010)
along with Meridian (21020) and Central (21030) which moved last week 11097 V 23000

London (20800) & Granada (20810) are still available on 11068 V 23000

Had to retune ITV HD London today before the footy started. All the transponder moves are clearly the cause of these problems.

It looks like ITV HD is still ~10 Mbps CBR, which is quite honestly unbelievable.

Who knows they might shove 5 HD regions on a DVB-S2 TP yet? we will have to wait and see if they do anything else! Wouldnt it be great if more HD regions are launched?!

So ITV STILL haven't re-assigned Meridian and Central with the correct HD regions nor added the remaining 4 SD micro regions. I wonder if they have any intention of ever sorting it out. Very lazy.

Why not make a complaint to OFCOM that they arent following the 2003 Coms act on freesat properly, regarding the SD channels at 103 and that its just bad practice with the HD regions!

This is a right cock up. I have a variation of ITV HD but not sure which as the EPG is blank using 11068 V 23000 inputs. The sound is dropping out a bit, at random, and the picture goes black at the same time.

Is it not working at 11097 V 23000?

Wondering if any changes to the regions available on Freesat are intended for the start of March, with the missing regions coming on board Monday 3rd?

I dont know whats going on with freesat though ether, it looks odd that ITV didnt sort things out with their regions though like things are on Sky!
